It took me a while, but I finally got around to making mine
babysitter cancelled on me, so it looks doubtful. I'm still going to try
I've been wanting to check out lwrsf... I'm going to try to make it out there (fingers crossed for an arctic front! lol)
I actually think the opposite. I think synthetic is a better choice when it's muggy, mine breathes great. I have down for winter and synthetic for summer.
looks like a good time... thanks for sharing the pictures!
looks like a great time!
Welcome from Orlando!
Tim @ enLIGHTened equipment also does synthetic quilts and will also do custom if you like. I'm very happy with mine.
Welcome from Orlando
I think good apex synthetic quilts are a superior choice for summer quilts. Anything above 40 deg range. The weight difference is very slim and it packs down nearly as good, but with the great safety...
Jacks river trail in cohutta

sold-Patagonia lightweight sun hoody, as reviewed here by mike cleland ...
Thanks, guys. Just what I needed to know.
the only eye bolts I can find at lowes are rated about 150lbs...are you guys using something different with a higher rating?
I plan on attaching my pole, to the stand using a shackle and eye bolt... Is there a minimum weight rating I should be looking for? FYI, I weigh 160lbs
good video. I enjoyed it, thanks
+1.... I've never had a problem treating my hat either, but only treat the cuffs/band of my underwear
This is the one I use, it's accurate and you can get it at amazon
I like shorter ones. That way you can hang it lower to the hammock/ridgeline for more protection and privacy
I also have both. To me it depends on several things... But this is what it comes down to for me. The weight advantage of down is pretty much a wash for a 40 degree quilt and above (apex). So they...
EE makes some of the finest quilts, IMHO
Great trip report.... I just receive the guide book & map for this trail. Really looking forward to it.... Still creeped out about the packs fimb found :)
My kindle paperwhite is my luxury item... Love the built in light
Welcome aboard, from Orlando
welcome from Orlando
I went nobull phincubator for colder weather and and am going to do a Phoenix for summer. My 20deg phincubator is 18 oz
It's pretty normal from my experiences. I think they just get really busy, but they will get back to you.
I think I'm out. Gotta a chance to go hanging with family out of state, the next weekend. I really wanted to check out this forest and meet up with you guys, but don't think the wife will like me...
there is a pretty good chance that I'll be able to go. Do you know what the milage is roughly going to be?
looks like a good time. I've been thinking of heading over there
Olddog, when you start selling them, let me know. I'll take one! :)
That's great! I'm really liking the moon with the logo twist
What temp rating?
I agree with everything you posted, but do wonder about this. As I mentioned in another thread, it seems to me that a cat cut tarp would hang better from an over-the-tarp ridgeline... Thoughts?
You will like it, they're comfy!
Thanks for the update, I just got some! although, I gave up the other day and ordered a nalgene canteen and jetflow adapter....Well, now I have options
where do we complete the survey?
Will the 4 season cuben tarp w/ cat. cut ridgeline hang as well with a continuous ridgeline running under it?
Would it hang better with continuous ridgeline running over it or two piece...
I'm starting to get a headache, thinking of all the different ways I can set up my tarp!
congrats on a fine piece of gear!
