I've had my share of haters since making that video but I have just as many people who like the PVC system and have become faithful users. Viva-la-PVC! ;)

Thanks.....must have a s95/s100 PRONTO!!!
Finished working on my pics this afternoon....I don't have a fancy camera like Tiles so these will be more like Andy Adams than Ansel Adams. ;)

Pinch-In isn't quite steep enough for my liking.....other than that great trip!
We are going to park at Pinch-In. Hike Rockjock, down Conley, and then hike upstream and find a spot to set up camp. Then the next morning we'll hike back downstream and go up Pinch-In back to the...

I thought you'd know the spot, it's really the only place on the trail where you walk down a rock bed for a good 50 feet. The way it fell sucks...straight down the trail right in the bench, covering...

Very quiet day other than the two bear dogs that were lost in the woods that were barking all day. :)
It was a great day for a hike. My favorite walking temperature, freezing.
Thanks for keeping us in the loop. I'm afraid 105 out of Lake James which is how we would come will be a slanted ice rink. I got 4WD but if it's ice that wont matter. I was thinking of us hiking...
Yeah my 4WD won't work good on ice :)
Thinking we're gonna move it to the Wilson Creek Wilderness. Easier to bail if it gets squirrelly
Thanks. I posted this video a while back to but the thread ended up down the list pretty quickly. Here's a repost in case you missed it.
No Pinch-In on this one. Went Conley Cove, Linville, Babel...
Thanks. Yep from a distance Pinch-In looks so deceivingly mild compared to its surroundings.
You have not hiked in the L-ville Gorge until you have hiked up Pinch-In. Everyone should experience the pain at least once. I took my brother back in October because he wanted a good challenge. He...
