Mighty fine Shrug, mighty fine.
I like me some chicken chasing, mmm
Aye for myself and Jason
Not sure how local anyone is. Which does make this sort of event a challenge. It does take/ or can take alot of personal time putting on an event like this.
I know good access to the Superior...
So my plan is too be there Wednesday. Looks like most people are showing up Thursday. I'm thinking Jason will be gong with me. Like TZ said in an earlier post, will set up somewhat close to where...
I bought a pair last year before the hang and did not use them that weekend (I have since though). The trail for the most part is a groomed snowmobile trail. Of course they may be needed at some...
King sized Whatchamacallit bars and beef jerky!
Pinewood float! I choked on pine needles couple times. MT's filter/ strainer got used some if I remember. Be a good idea to have one of those along as well.
I haven't posted any food items. Will bring plenty also. It went pretty smooth last year. The main thing is the one pot cooking. So just bringing something frozen and precooked to add to the pot...
The rest of us will be snow and wind burnt. :D
I have a parachute. It was donated for this event by some carnival folk. Hoping to get up there later this weekend,(Sunday, Monday). Maybe stack some wood for future use.
Heading up that way tomorrow. I'm thinking I can make it there Saturday, maybe a couple days after.
--Stairguy what time are you thinking on arriving Sat.?
Let's hope for early snow! Been wanting to get over to YRSP. If it works out I will be der.
What area of the trail you thinking of hiking?
Good Luck!! Hey Stairguy, are you gonna be posting his updates? If the snow gets out by mid May, I'm having thoughts of doing the same thing.
Thinking May 12th is Mother's Day. Just throwing that out there if got overlooked. Not sure if I could make it up there. The dates so far aren't hitting for me too make any hangs up Nort der. ...

He is soon to reach the age of 9. So yes, you probably can relate. It is difficult too get him out of the hammock in the morning. Never had that problem with a tent.
Two months of looking and learning on here. Bout time I say hey and send a big thanks for all the info that everyone shares. It has been helpful with gear selection for my boy and I. Yep I'm buying...
