Did the Split Rock Loop this weekend, just to check out the campsites. Nice and scenic trail, nice campsites but not very private, lots of traffic.

A great area in central MN is on the NCT going west from Walker to Itasca SP. Nice trail and great camp sites along the way and located on small lakes.
