Did my first hiking on the AT in 25+ years this weekend.

Started at Tray Gap, hiked to the top of Tray mountain then back down through the Gap and over to Unicoi Gap. Rainy and foggy the whole...

I'd rather have the liver mush.....

I prefer my food to have a skeleton of some kind (if a meat)...

I'd say exactly the same. Unless you are talking about tenting in an open space, then it would be hard to say.

I'll be there for sure, and I'm trying to get some folks to tag along as well.

Just have to try and pick up a stove / cookware and I'll be set. I'll do PB&J if need be, but I'll be there ;-)

I've been camping once in the last 20 years, because sleeping on the ground kills me.

Wanting to get back on the trail, I had to look for an alternative.

I probably will be, depending on the degree of 'hot' involved :rolleyes:

Okay, everything has arrived!!! I going to try and hang tonight or tomorrow night, just to try it out.

Planning on being in Hot Springs in June, so I'd like to at least get some practice hanging...

Decided to just jump in, my buddy likes his SB so that's where I went to start. I figure this way I can figure out...
