We did Indian Staircase last year in March.
I just ran across it and thought it might be useful for my tarp. I can trip on a line in daylight.
Thanks, I figured as much.
Is this usable for tarps and such? What size?

Beautiful dog and thats a lot of snow.
Ice in the trees would make for some dangerous hanging.
I'm working the next two weekends
Any dates yet?
I might try to make this one. Do you have to join the meet up group to go?

It's a rental townhouse, and the posts are not anchored in the ground. They are sitting in a preformed piece of cement sitting in top of the ground.
Not cemented into the ground

Doesn't look good
Can you hang from deck posts without breaking them? I googled and couldn't find the answer.
I'm running out of space to keep my down quilts, is it ok to store them uncompressed in a large tote fuffed up? The Rubbermaid kind? No room to hang them any more, as much as I enjoy looking at...

When someone tells you something exciting you say "whoo buddy" and they are like what.
True story
Not me, I don't have a thing against sleeping in a bed. Mine is comfy and I love it. I just don't know how to bring it on camping trips. Hammocking vs tenting for me is comfort, off the ground...
I'm going tonight to test some mods to my sons hammock. I think I've converted him to my way of hanging.
Or go to Wallly world and pic up a http://www.ebay.com/itm/NEW-Car-Truck-Auto-SILVER-SUN-SHADE-Dashboard-Protecter-/250462633957
I made my first set of whoopies, I used the heavier weight picture hanging wire and doubled it and twisted it to form the loop. Worked like a charm.

Kentucky is the only state not planning a group hang! Someone get the ball rolling, I bought Spam Singles, don't make me cook them at home!
