I fully agree.
Good Idea PGibson.
I think they will make another video with apologies and a better way, they have that kind of integrity. And they have done that in the past.
lol:rolleyes:
I wouldn't know.
The Pathfinder School is a wilderness survival/ self reliance school. I don't think they have adjustable straps, Dutch Clips, and Amsteel on their pack list. I think they are showing people how to...
I was thinking of making a DIY IX TQ for my new Mac IX UQ and came up with the idea that the two could be attached together in an emergency as a sleeping bag.
I just had this idea that maybe a big sleeping bag would be big enough to cut into a TQ and UQ. And in the event of an emergency (no trees around:scared:) the two could zip or attach back together as...
Hope this helps.

Any trouble from the Park Rangers about hammocking?
I'm jealous too. Great pics thanks!

I like it a lot , but it is just a bit to big for me. It has been used in the back yard but never taken on a camping trip or seen rain, snow etc. It's a beautiful knife but I want something a bit...
The best way to avoid being ask/told by Rangers to take down the hammocks is Stealth Hammocking!
I also thought about using strips of CCF between the straps and tree the next time I was in a...
Thanks AS,
That was very insightful. Can't wait to try it out this fall/winter.
Has anyone used a spaceblanket on the outside of the UQ in winter? I was wondering if it would extend the use of a 3 season UQ a bit further into the winter months.
I always like to see others gear. I always learn something new. And it almost always ends up making my pack that much heavier!;)
Great story. I enjoyed it. Felt like I was there. Nice pics too.
LOL
Great report! Makes me want to run out to the trail right now!
I'm terribly sorry guys, but I just got booked for july 9-12. I won't be able to make the hang.
I feel bad:crying
I gonna shoot for the Fall Maryland hang.
Great job. A napped kid is a happy kid.
I run the tarp under the line simply because I don't want unnecessary rubbing against the tarp fabric.
One more factor to think about when setting up your tarp.
A tear rolls down my cheek as I read the "conclusion".
Great videos!!
Any pics on one compressed?
My gut hurts from laughing so hard!
Sounds like you had a great and peaceful time. Can't wait for the next trips pics.
mmmmmmm Chocolate.
It's a sad day. I took down the BB because I was losing the battle with the spiders and bugs trying to make a home on the hammock.:crying
CHA CHING!:)
I'm a side/belly sleeper in the bed and had the same concern when picking out my first hammock. Read my "first Hammock Report" about my experience.
Both the Jacks'R'Better Bridge and the Warrbonnet...
works for me. I'll mark the calender. Thanks Bleemus for all your work:)
I have been sleeping in my Blackbird 1.7 Dbl hammock now for 30 nights. I am extremely pleased with the Blackbird. Although this is the only type of hammock I have ever used.
I love how simple it...
Thanks for the complement, But I'm not going into the tarp business anytime soon:) Plus if you saw my sewing up close, it looks like the ocean......wavy:lol:
Except for the Multicam fabric, and...
8miles is perfect.
So when do you want to go?
Congratulations! I wish you the best with your business.
