I was wondering if wrapping a 1 inch strap around a tree twice (not overlapping) would alleviate enough pressure to equate to 2" straps?

I just restrung my hammock using a "V" formation with 1" straps and dutch cinch buckles. and admit that it is slightly more difficult to secure a v formation to 2 trees as the straps want to slide....
