I keep hearing about this tree distance issue with the WBRR, but when I had mine I never once had a single issue finding a spot to hang it. I mean, it's not that much longer than other hammocks.

I don't think it was ever his intent to take advantage of anyone, I just think too much time has passed to make the review worthwhile. The hammocks should just be sent back and this review...
Agreed, wouldn't be worth it now. I don't know what he could cover that hasn't been discussed here already...
Check out the Warbonnet Ridgerunner DrTom, it will fit you great. I'm 6'-6" as well and it's what I use...
