I have a 128" hammock and an adjustable ridgeline that I adjust from about 108-112" depending on the angle I can hang the suspension at.

I like to have a pillow for a bit more neck support, especially when don't have a really flat lay. I usually just use extra clothes or jacket and adjust.

I second this, with my setup I just use woopie slings attached directly to the hammock itself, I find there is no need for continuous loops in between the two.
