paracord will "work" for a tarp ridgeline, once you set up and get everything taut i would go back in an hour or two and re-tighten it again though, and if it rains on you or gets wet the paracord...
not sure if your talking about for your hammock or tarp, but i will start with the material first
paracord is nylon and will stretch on you so it is not the best option for a ridgeline, something...
