Looks like ENO is finally catching on.

How did you get it to that low of a weight? Did you replace the suspension with whoopies?
So would I order a length to match my ridge line or a length of my hammocks finished length?
What is the HUG?
So my google foo is not very good and I could not find a thread that dealt specifically with the lightest bug net. So can you guys help me out? I know BIAS makes the Nano at 7.? ounces but does...
sold pending payment to Kllrbee
I have a brand new Warbonnet BB 1.1 SL with webbing and buckle suspension that has never been slept in. I have laid in it a few times (4 to be exact) for a few hours at a time and I am just not a...
I see your point but i was simply stating that it is indeed the lightest hammock i know of.
The single+ is the same size as a warbonnet black bird at 120" x 63" and only weighs 7.5 oz. That is...
No thank you. I really want the squared off top of the original. I should have pulled the trigger on it 2 years ago but I got lazy.
The Hummingbird Single Hammock is currently the lightest hammock that I know of weighing in at 5.2 oz with a weight limit of 300lbs. They sell a kit that comes with 2.1 oz tree straps and whoopies...
from videos I have seen, the ridgeline should be able to move to about a 60 degree angle when rotated between your thumb and finger with the finger pulling down on the ridgeline and the thumb...
And here is the article I believe that is referenced above:

Just found this video of the hammock:

I am really curious about this brand as well. I think I am going to buy one in the next week or so. I can't decide if I want the single or the single+ yet though. The single+ seems to be the same...
yea, I saw that review and that's how I found out about them around a year ago.
I would like to buy an original Thermarest Neo Air in a large. I have been looking for one for some time to tinker with. If you have one and want to get rid of it let me know and we can talk price.
Has anyone used one before? I am thinking of upgrading to a nicer bag and cant decide if I want a katabatic 40deg or a hammock gear 40 deg. Either way ill add probably 2 ounces of down. I am...
my home was broken into back in January and the A-hole stole my customized Hyperlight mountain gear pack so I am stoked to be replacing it with a z-packs arc blast.
I know someone out there has made a smaller hammock to hang underneath their own hammock for a dog because I have seen a picture of it. But I would not even know where to begin to look for it. I...
Low enough for you is probably different than my low enough.
I dont mind the strechyness of the 1.1 SL. I like that the fabric is softer and lighter I just need my feet to be lower I think so that I can fall asleep better. I think that a WWM or WW will be...
Only in its wet state. once it has bonded to the fabric it is safe. But cats are lame anyway:jj:
DOGS RULE!
I get that, but I guess I felt a little cheated when I found out that when people say "flat lay" they really mean "less curved". Its really my fault for not researching it more, I think I was...
What ratio are you using? I plan on treating at least my hammock and a few shirts and one pair or shorts. Maybe socks and shoes but we will see.
Yea I realize it does not have a bug net, but I would pair it with a net from Papasmurf.
I am just looking for a more comfortable lay. I got the WBBB b/c I was told it had a flat lay, well that...
I feel the same way, especially now that I know its so cheap. I always assumed it was expensive especially since the exificio shirts with it are 20 bucks more. But at these prices it would be silly...
I have a WBBB 1.1 SL and have been playing around with it in the back yard since december, its ok but i am not sure I can sleep in it yet, but if I can get a better lay with a cheaper and lighter...
Really! What department? Gardening?
How is the lay of a BIAS hammock with the knotty mod when compared to a WBBB lay(for a 6ft tall person)? Are they equal or is one more comfortable over the other?
Is the other ingredient in this just water?
Oh they do! And this is the one I plan on getting for just that as I have become a gram weenie.

As for storing it I feel the shelf in my WBBB is not...
Does it have 40% permethrin? That is a very high concentrate is it not?
Is there a consensus on Bonide? Does it work as well as the Sawyer Permethrin?
word. thanks guys! off to the interwebs to buy some of this stuff.
so I just make or buy Permethrin, put it into a bucket, and soak the hammock in it? its that simple?
Have any of you had issues with mosquitos biting you through your 1.1 Single Layer hammock? I just tried to take an afternoon nap for the first time in my WBBB to see if sleeping in it is even...
check this thing out! I don't know if anyone has ever posted it before but it is very cool.

I would absolutely like to see more about the hammock. I would also like to be able to buy one of these bad boys as well.
I dont see how its lighter by using 1.9 when the WBBB offers 1.1.
Does anyone know what the lightest hammock out there is with an integrated bug net? Is the WBBB 1.1 SL as light as it gets? I am really only looking for something I can order so DIY doesn't count.
Knots greatly reduce the strength of the webbing plus i would require more length to tie a knot rather than sew the webbing and more length means more weight.
personal preference.
I think I am just going to take the straps to a shoe repair place and see if they can sew them for me.
I was in the store yesterday and saw some 3/8" webbing and I forgot how small that stuff...
What are the strengths relative to? The tensile strength of the strap?
cool thanks guys
I have found some 3/8" polyester webbing that has a 1500lbs limit. I want to use it for some tree huggers but I will have to sew the loops at the ends.
Does anyone have a certain thread they...
Is it really that little for the pair? I figured it would be half b/c you are cutting a little less than half the material out of the strap.
Has anyone used under 1" webbing for tree straps? I know the ENO slap strap Micros are about 3/8" wide and that is the only tree strap I know of that is that thin. I am looking at every aspect to...
I am actually meeting someone tomorrow to try out their WBBB so i should have a better idea of what i like by monday.
see i dont take wussy wands, sissy sticks, pansy poles, well you get the idea...
