Ugh, I ordered and wanted the new style without Velcro.
I mainly sleep with my face on the zipper so when I vent I'm pretty much exhaling outside. The winter cover helps a lot with wind, as it should. With that said I think a the XL sock would have been a...
Nice! I like it a lot
Pretty sweet set up. Very easy to dial in. I'm amazed my 12' tarp works with it.
So go for maximum first? That's just not good business. How about doing post limits but keeping the old item rules?
Obviously this is not a popular move.
I don't agree, I don't see this as a done deal. The what you can/not sell restriction is just plain short sighted.
People can wrap their heads around the amount of posts and number of items but...
It is hooded
I'm not going to mince words on this one. The new policy is short sighted and a solution looking for a problem. I DO NOT LIKE IT one bit. I use a headlamp in my hammock every single night. At times I...
I have had some"thing" walk up to my tarp before. It was probably a small animal but it sounded 10' tall while it moved through the dead leaves. Having a buck snort at you within a stone's throw will...
On the XLC i use the same stake for the entry side tie out as I do for my tarp.
I know. The original post was years old. Thank you though.
Still changing to this warmer weather so stuff needs new homes. I'm selling my beloved Atom LT size XL, color is yellow
$110 shipped to you in the lower 48.
I sealed after. [emoji23]
If I were to "hammock" while under a tarp with closed doors do you think that would satisfy societal norms?
I learned my lesson about tarp testing as well. My superfly hadn't leaked but I had only been in light rain or brief showers. During an extended night's soaking my tie outs leaked big time. My fault...
If you are going to get a sock save money and skip the over cover.
Yes thank you! I had given up finding their stuff as I scoured the interwebs a while back for any and all I could get my hands on.
Where did you find the enertia trail food?! Sadly they went out of business but I love their cherokee cinnamon rice.
Thanks for adding the kid sizes.
Since we are posting our Christmas wish list, please offer little kids sizes as well. My boys were recently entertaining themselves by yelling, "woooooo buuuddddddyyy" into some echo-y rocks. My...
I am assuming based upon the picture that your is pertex and has the water resistant panels at the foot and head ends?
Replied I think. Nice gear folks, people are happy with their purchases. The eddie Bauer field coat isn't made anymore to the best of my knowledge. I'm surprised no one jumped on that.
Not sure what you are looking for
Sold and shipped
Label says, L 42-44
Too many coats for a warm climate. All coats are in good shape, no burn holes or anything that I could see.
Lower 48 only.
This is a sewing project coat, fits a...
Great report. Did wayne write it?
Thanks for the great food, great tour and fun. I told the wife and kids all about it and they really want to check it out now. The kids were especially...
Less than a dozen. I was looking at them carefully before the Alabama hang this weekend and they looked good. A bit dirty in spots but no pull to the weave or unusual stretching. I like them.
I'm on my way
I used a ugq quilt on all of my hammocks including a ridge runner. I had to loop the shock cord up around the ends and the quilt came up the side a bit. Worked well for me.
Dry bed clothes make all the difference.
I will also add that the warmest I have been at bed time is when I got off trail, pitched camp and went straight to bed.
First, Thank you! for giving folks a heads up, I think that is all most need right now.
Mychal nailed it pretty much. I have 4 forums I can view updates from all on one screen. It is a convenient ap
I have used my new kevlar straps enough times now to have faith in them and love them. :boggle: They sleep with me at night.
Lower weight penalty and they just seem to roll up better....
Any word from the owners? This is very annoying
I wonder if this has ever come up before in a planning thread.
I used them for a few months and now the are on my 7yr Olds hammock. No sign of wear.
Ok that is seriously cool
Not happy about this. I've been using this feature since I got on the forums. If Tapatalk isn't cutting it then let's move to another platform.
I have full Yukon set ups for my kids. I switched out the heavy connections for continuous loops and whoopie slings. I kept the guy lines and pegs as they are fine for how often the kids get out. We...
I have a 3/4 and a full length short. I prefer the full length short for the top to bottom down in cold temps. The 3/4 is great for warmer temps because I can slide my feet off it and get some...
Now why did you have to show me that!
No matter how long I actually sleep my body usually feels pretty good the next morning. Keep moving your spot away from the group and eventually you will challenge yourself to do a solo over nighter....
Vest and Wind jacket are sold
I will have it out in the mail tomorrow
Only the shell has been sold.
The warbonnet blackbird XLC comes with an over cover that you can zip in. Put that with an underquilt protector and you are good to go. Some people use molly mac's canvas pod for really cold temps. ...
I wear Xl just into 2x. This is one of those looser profiles which is great for layers. I wore 2 base layers and a patagucci down sweater under this with no problems.
Mine was purchased over a year ago. Epic face fabric, polartec sides, schoeller cuffs, helmet compatible hood. It's awesome for early and late ski seasons. I see a female version that looks similar...
Price drop to $90 for a great outer layer.
