Yes, the tie-outs lined up pretty spot on with the TB.
I did replace the Potomac for use on the TB, which then went to my wife, who first used it on the HH, then switched to the Yukon Double - the Potomac has worked just fine on any hammock that we've...
Glad to see you're liking your Bearded Hangers - I love my Mutton Chop! I've tried a couple of different hammocks since getting it, but keep going back to it.
Definitely going to have to do something for that possibility, yes. Was thinking of doing some sort of single pole mod with an old tent pole, from the end of one stand to the opposite end of the...
Getting ready for a group moto ride next month in Moab and wanted something a little fancier than a "Walmart blue" to cover the stands at the RV park. Ordered a Noah's 16. Nailed it.

Triangle Thingies are great for built-in bugnets! And if not, New River Suspenders totally fit the bill.
Though I haven't yet used a down UQ, I feel like it would be the opposite. With a down UQ, since it seems like most are differential cut, snug it up and be done with it. With synthetic, you have to...
I agree that the "pick a location, set a date" is the best way to go about doing it. Even a simple "Hey everyone, I'm going ___ on ___, feel free to join me."
My wife is now using a Yukon Double with the Potomac. We do use a New River Suspender over the ridgeline from tie-out to tie-out like mentioned by Grumpy Squatch.
San Francisco, chiming in.
1. Always up for a group hang if transportation and timing allows.
2. Daily schedule is usually pretty hectic, so it's typically best to follow someone else's...
That's close enough I could even moto down from SF - definitely interested!
I believe the OP is wondering why quilts aren't advertised at their post-fill lengths.
Congrats on your 5 O'clock Shadow! I'm sure you'll love it - definitely report back after testing. My Mutton Chop is still one of my favorites. Love the HyperD!
This is my new favorite suspension-of-the-moment, minus pulling the tail back through the buckle as a lock. I leave the MB in tri-glide mode, hang the CL through it a la Dutch Spiders, and done -...
I was very pleased, after testing last night, to find that the method of hanging on the buckle in the video also works well on the Multibuckles.
I have both of Dutch's socks, and while they're great with his 10.5/11.0 netless hammocks, they don't fit the Yukon Double (read: generic parachute double) very well.
Couldn't pass up $71.17 - in for a set. It'll either make yet another complete hammock setup for friends that hang with me, or will be gifted to a cousin that's in the process of leaving the ground...
I love my Dream Multibuckles - can't wait to see what's ahead.
I do like that the Snugpak is longer/wider. My one major complaint with the DD, is that with its shape and 2m length, at 6ft tall, I do have to be very particular with my lay if I want both head and...
The DD does have a cinching channel on each end, the same side-cinching channel as the Snugpak, and two grosgrain loops on each side for ridgeline suspension (and shock cord and microbiners to do...
Thanks Dublinlin.
I've been directing friends and family with limited budget towards the DD quilts (I also have a set myself - actually prefer the DD top quilt to my 3S KAQ). The Snukpak stuff...
It looks like there is no shock cord to cinch the ends - is that the case?
Does anyone know how this compares to the DD Underblanket in regards to suspension, side attachment points (to string shock cord over the ridgeline), and temperature rating?
TIA
I'll take #1
Assuming it wasn't me since I didn't get an email :) No video at work - name/username of the winner in plain text? Congrats to them!
I like my Underblanket, though, at 6', I'd prefer if they made a rectangle version / KAQ style. Only had mine down in the low 40s so far. Definitely worth it as a first, economical quilt. With...
It works great, but it's not ideal. I've used mine on my HH/Thunderbird/Yukon Double/Dutch11. I'm 6'. This covers my feet and shoulder, and I have a pillow for my head. If they made a full...
The "Darth Vader" one looks more like Dark Helmet. :)
Last weekend at Mahogany Flat Campground / Death Valley. Only the fifth time out of the backyard; third time on trees.

Helping my wife's cousins gear up. Hope to take them to Boggs Mountain soon.
Thank you for your generosity!
Something else to think about: The Grand Trunk hammocks look like they're made from the same template ENO, Yukon, and the like, use. I'm willing to bet that the given length of 10'6" is from 'biner...
Yes, they do hang to the side at an angle. Good for bottles and things, but not the best for an open can.
Take a gander at the "REI Schwag Pockets". $10 for a pair.
Not sure about the ENO DN sizing, but I just tried my 11' Dutch Winter Sock with my Yukon Double this past Saturday, and no go. The distance from the bottom of the hammock to the ridgeline is a...
Thank you for your insightful, intelligent, and well-worded contribution to the forum and my question. Glad I could provide some LOL value where it's needed the most.
For anyone still unaware of...
kormi, I moto'd to Woodland for a hitch to the group ride last weekend, so I think I can definitely handle Martinez - thanks!
Very generous! Thank you
San Francisco, here. Always up for a hang, but small displacement motorcycle as my only vehicle means it needs to be relatively close....
Thanks, Dutch! Noticed this yesterday. One of these days I need to get un-lazy long enough to talk to you about purchasing them for a hammock I've already received from you. Thanks again for...
Got one of those fans last week. I hope I never have a need for it, but I'm sure I'll be glad for it if I do.
Fantastic! Thank you for the kind opportunity!
I have both of Dutch's socks, 11', and yes, closing and opening them can be somewhat of a pain (I've experienced this, and read it in other posts). Just gotta pull yourself up there to the end. I...
Welcome, from San Francisco! Lived in Fairbanks for a few years as a kid (Ft Wainwright) - oh the memories. Need to go back and check it out as an adult!
I have the 3S Potomac for my Explorer Deluxe, and can't speak highly enough of it. Been down to 36 in it so far, and sure I can go quite a bit further.
I hope this is an ok place to ask this:
Dutch - will the Half-Wit-style knotty-mod every become a "product" or add-on, by chance? I wish I had thought to ask when I ordered my Dutch Netless. I'd...
My Mutton Chop arrived today! It's everything I expected. 11' 1.6 HyperD in Dark Olive, with dual foot-end knotty-style mod. Swapped out the cinch buckles for continuous loops and whoopie hooks,...
Welcome from San Francisco!
Thank you for the opportunity!
I didn't mean it the way it may have come out. I love the Dutch. But I would love the dark olive HyperD just a little bit more :)
You guys are killin' me here :)
Just got my Dutch last week, planning on replacing it already with one of yours :D. Posted through your Contact Us form just a little earlier...
