Welcome from Lancaster, Pa
We have change the material a standard mild steel pipe to cut down on the weight from the conduit, this also allows the powder coating to adhere better. All drilling and cutting done on the stands is...
1. It is 16 gage mild steel
2. I have left mine outside for months at a time and have not seen anymore then just small rust stains on the 1-1/4" part of the end caps and splice pieces.
3. I do not...
I am very sorry about forgetting to put the numbers on the legs. Things have been a little crazy around here and I must have forgotten to put them up when I was packing up to ship.
So gf is in VA for the weekend and I have nothing to do anyone around south central pa want to hang?
You now have my head going in 20 different directions with this and I think I have a few ideas that will work, all for car camping and backyards but I'm going to keep thinking.
Depending on the weekend I'm in and I'll bring pulled pork and BBQ sause again also.
1. Yes, you can use whoopie slings on the stand just larks head the the whoopie sling around the end of the ridge pole like is down with the tree straps on the last 2 pics gunner posted.

OK I was looking at picks of the c5 on Google and came across this. NASA was looking to use it for transporting the...
On my way home I saw a c5 coming in to land 95 up by dc scared the crap out of me
I would try to save you but I have a feeling in the end we would both end up dropping double the money and end up buying from almost every vender
Lol now would be a good time to ask if you can by a stand jk
No I was able to find them they fell out of my pack in the back seat and ended up on the floor
Can everyone look through there gear and let pm me if you find a thing of keys with a red thumb drive and orange browning logo on it. I used my back up key to drive home thinking my keys were in my...
The Hammeck crew will be in Hammeck stands and have a few of our older demo models if we get into a pinch for others to use
I believe my mom's offer still stands but her and dad are out of cell service this weekend for the Fat Butt hang this weekend she can't answer. If she can one of us meck's will take care of it
George has just earned his HF name as onesiy ROFL
A little black snake was humanly relocated by H_ngm_n, work project have been completed, and now we relax
So I think Corey got lost he left to get some thing from his place at noon and still isn't back
Shouldn't it be RODL?
I'll be hitting the road around 6 am hope to get there by lunch. I'm come down 95 if it has me get off at or after the bass pro exit it may be closer to midnight till I get there lol
I'll have demos of all Hammeck models except breezy and an extra trap and uq. So there should be plenty of extra hammocks.
BBQ sauce is cooling, pork is cooking, and I'm getting ready to start the chili
I think sandman was going to do pulled chicken Saturday night to go with the pulled pork, so Saturday night
Food wise I will be bring pulled pork, and white chili I'll just need something to heat it up with.
I made some modification for this weekend.
I have no problem helping with breakfast and I'll try not to start a food fight with biggcarl
Yes, Mom and Pop will be bringing new stands to the Fat Butt Hang and I will also have have some to show off at POHAW, and a sneak peak at something we have in the testing phase.
I started a new thread of how to hang tarps on the Hammeck Stand, here it is https://www.hammockforums.net/forum/showthread.php/108165-Hammeck-Stand-How-to-hang-a-tarp-over-the-ridge-pole
Here are a couple of ways to tie off the RL for you tarp over top of the ridge pole on the Hammeck Stand.
1st way is to tie to the loops of the hammock suspension that go up around the ridge pole....
I'll start another one once I get the pics taken
I will take some pics tomorrow showing how I tie the rl off
I take you have a 12 ft ridge line tarp?
Are you using shock cord tarp tensioners on your tarp? I find this works with them but I'm not sure how well it will work without. When you tie down the first side pull tight then let off about an...
It's really not that fun cause you end up having to switch your tarp out just for the fact you can't get the sap off it anymore and it sticks together.
I have her white chili recipe, should I bring?
Ok so the hang is getting closer. This is your friendly reminder that I live 10 min. from dutchware hq. So if you are looking to get something last min. Before the hang and want me to pick it up say...
Thanks sewing on this isn't production quality since my controbution to the company is making the hammock stands. I do a little better with a welder then a sewing machine.
The stand is the hammock stand we sell on our site with the extention piece in it to get an extra 2 ft. If I didn't put the extention piece in I would not have been able to close the doors with the...
Yes there is no problem with that. The main reason we stated to make all the section 5 ft is because EMT conduit normally comes in 10 or 20 ft lengths
I have not weighed it yet, so I'm not sure.
I like the way it came out but after 8 hr I learned that I much prefer being behind a welding hood then a sewing machine. Good thing we make a metal hammock stand
I woke up yesterday morning and for some reason I wanted to make a tarp. So after look through the fabrics I had on hand (you may have a Dutchware problem is you randomly have 8 yds of woodland camo...
Living so close to dutchware hq I have never experienced the joy of getting a package from dutch and getting to open it, but I can only guess it is like a kid at Christmas with wrapping paper flying...
Currently I have 4, but I have given a number away to friends and have yet to use the same hammock at more then 2 hangs
And if you buy a whole spool from him you my be able to get it for cheaper yet.
I'm going to see about it if I can make it but I'm not sure yet
Made it back safe and sound around 8 last night. I had a great time, it was nice to see everyone and meet some new people.
Hey pappy can you give me a call at ###-###-####. I can't find it.
EDIT: I'm saved!
