I went to AIT at Redstone Arsenal 30 years ago.
I'll second that. I will try even harder to get to the hang this year. I only went into the woods once last year.
I'm glad you are well Chazz, and to many more years of hanging.
I use the Yukon Outfitters hammock for an every day hammock with the turtle dog stand. Try the one tree that is at the head end and one of the two trees that are growing together at the foot end...

I can't make it this weekend due to car problems, mine and my father's. Put a goat on the fire for me. I'll be at the Spring hang.
I made a 10' stand also and it just fits my 11.5" Yukon Outfitter hammock.
I was thinking of getting another section of fencing and make it shorter for an adjustable stand.
Yea, I like the idea of the back yard hang first. But if your willing to go I'm game.
I'll keep an eye on this thread.

At about 50° that is the limit for my Poncho liner.
But in the winter I still bring it with me and use it over my head to keep the moisture from getting onto my down top quilt.
I guess I was too late. I don't see it at all.
I sleep in my Yukon hammock every night.
Very beautiful country thanks for the pictures.
30" wide! Not much of a diagonal lay. No wonder their arms hung out.
Thanks for the tour. If there is a group hang, I'm there.
I second!
And yes I'm going too.
Welcome to the forum. Some people I know have Hennessy hammocks and they love them. Enjoy.
