I am open to ideas on what to bring.
Hope it's not too late! Taking the kids down in the morning!
Ok doh kay
ETA around 9:30 am. See you guys there. Don't wait for me if you want to go on in.
Could be a plan. I will let you know tomorrow.
Is anyone going in on Thursday night?
See you there!

All I can say is wow. That video was awesome! I am hiring you to help me track down Bigfoot.
It was great to finally meet you Jax. Good to meet someone as enthusiastic about this stuff as myself and so close to home.
Myself, Luis and Sarah had a blast. I couldn't have hoped for a better birthday for Sarah on Saturday. Not often now days she gets to run around a play like a kid without parents worrying about her...
Those guys should't be doing construction that early. ;)
Up, packed(ish), heading out. Kids too tired to be excited!
Sarah's Birthday! Wish my little girl happy birthday when you see her!!
Way to go Life Scout. Wish I could have made the hike in. Work sucks.
I will be leaving early Saturday with the kids. Girlfriends ETA is in the afternoon.
Save us a spot! LOL

IMO this is an ultralight hammock and I want to keep it that way. I just lark head my dynaglide whoopies directly into the channel.
Work, work, work. Always work. :(
Enjoy. See you soon enough
Looking for something to do and was wondering if anyone is going to be out and about this weekend.
Here are some more pics! Had a GREAT time! Glad to see everyone and happy the season is starting off with a bang. Two great hangs in already and some new friends to boot.
I am hoping to be at the meeting point around 6pm.
I'll carve you some tooth picks out of nature. Wooooooooooo. <------ Skunkape call
Packing now. I have been sick all week. Finally see an end to that. So, do I pack the down or the SOL??http://img.tapatalk.com/d/13/11/08/rarurury.jpg
I just replaced my main hammock with a SL. It's just about perfect for me. Very well put together. Great customer service as well. Answered my questions quickly and shipped super fast.
Sounds optimal to me!
Hey from Jacksonville also!!!
No calzone for the Skunkape
I am game for hiking every other weekend.
I assumed you were just demonstrating what happens when you hang your hammock with too shallow an angle. 0_o. Ha.
It was a great seminar. I hole you do more. I would love to have a meet-up in...
And no one was filming it. Doh! Glad you were ok. I haven't done a CPR class in years. LOL
Awesome! Lots of great ideas. My hiking partner backed out. I may still do something.
Want to do some hiking this weekend. Go in Friday and come out Sunday. Any ideas? Maybe central? Did hidden pond already.
Well, it's more comfortable to me than my 11 foot. However, that's 52" wide. Width makes a difference.
It certainly is as I will get some pics ASAP
I was, but I have served my time and try to leave that behind me.
And in a Subie! The man has style.
Hello from Jax as well!
iRokk, in every hobby I have ever partaken in, learning the brands of the other geeks is always a benefit. Most people will be like, "I think I will try hammocking" and head on down to their...
Very well made! Perfect for me.
I have, like most if you, been on the search for the perfect hang that works for me. I tried the amazingly light BIAS WWM And loved it for the most part. Super light and pretty comfortable. The...
Sounds like a job for RIDGELINE!!!
I have seen this done with webbing and whoopies.
I also use the 1500 with no issues. I am 180lbs. Of course, I also use Dynaglide whoopies on a SL 1.1. I like to live dangerously.
You WILL get bitten through a DL or a single layer unless you have a pad or tight fighting quilt. Easy fix however. I treat my 1.1 in permethrin and I have no worries.
I actully buy the sack I hang my down in from the Dollar Tree. Yip, $1 laundry bags made of light nylon netting. They will not take a 5lb expedition bag well, but my 2 or 3 lbs of down breath very...
