S.S.T.Q. Should be good for this summer. My UQ is a Phoenix 20, probably get another TQ in fall to go to lower temperatures.
I already ordered last weekend, should be here actually today. Very quick turnaround.
I'll take it.
should it work with any <10ft hammock with a ridgeline?
Was just looking through the forum to try to get some info on Wilderness Logics and the S.S.T.Q. Sounds like most people are very happy, making my decision a bit easier. I know I waited too late in...
Looking at the all the comments and relying on the experience that you guys offer I decided to go with a phoenix 20 underquilt. The cost will probably be more than worth it in the end, instead of me...
Thank you everyone for the recommendations. I got a bunch of new vendors and options to look at now. I just noticed something as well, the yukon outfitters mosquito hammock I have is actually not...
I've been hammock camping 5-6 times before. Some at campgrounds, and some short hikes 2-3 miles. Last weekend I did a longer 17 mile loop hike (8 in the first evening and 9 out the next morning). ...
I've added this to another post, but I'll put it here for people:
I had a complete overnight in the yukon outfitters top and underquilt last night. I have an unheated sun room which I stayed in...
I hope you don't mind me adding to the review. I had a complete overnight in the yukon outfitters top and underquilt last night. I have an unheated sun room which I stayed in last night. It got...
Ooh that is the ENO ember placed in a compression sack, it doesn't come with one. That one wasn't probably the best size, I think it was a little too big. I just wanted to give a compressed...
All layed out the snugpak underquilt seems to be the largest as well as the heaviest. The fitment of the Eno Ember 2 is pretty good on my Yukon Outfitters Double. The Yukon Kindle underquilt seems...

Snugpag Underquilt/TopQuilt - Yukon Underquilt/TopQuilt - Eno Ember 2
I ordered the yukon top and bottom quilt, but happened to be in northern vermont this last weekend so I stopped by Vermont Army-Navy store and they actually had some instock. He told he he ordered...
Went to VT Army Navy today and picked up both an under and top quilt. Hope to try them out soon
I'm in Burlington tonight and going right by VT Army Navy tomorrow, I might stop in and buy a snugpak hammock quilt (I think that is their top quilt). Interesting enough it seems like the weights are...
nice video, do you use a foot pad or anything where the 3/4 phoenix doesn't cover?
īm pretty good in mine at 5'6". I even use a netless one on my 9 foot hammock stand indoors. All depends on how flat you want to lay.

Didn't see a post about them or even hear about them yet. Bought some to test them out. I enjoy my cheap yukon...
Grew up on the Sacandaga and still live in the area. Debating pulling the gun on a Jarbidge so I can do an overnight at the Tongue Mountain range in the Spring. Done a couple other ones during the...
I tried mine right out of the stuff sack last week camping and it rained 1/3 of an inch overnight and I remained dry. I might look into seam sealing now but for the light amount of rain I...

Are these what you're talking about?

I'm also relatively new to hammock camping. Grew up on the Sacandaga Lake and live not far from it now in Hagaman. I've done an overnight hang in Blue Mountain Lake and I now know I'll be looking...
I used mine this past weekend for an overnight hang. It was raining/drizzling on and off all night, nothing too heavy but I could hear the drops hitting the tarp. It seemed to cover my yukon...
Sounds like a nice trip. I might of been looking out over the area you guys were at. On Saturday morning 8/16 10:30 A.M. I was on top of Owl's Head Mountain at Long Lake looking around from the fire...
I'm lurking the underquilt subforum now looking to pick one up soon. While it was doable, at that temp 3 base layers, I'd rather be a bit more comfortable.
I actually grew up on the Sacandaga...
Growing up on the southern edge of the Adirondack Park I never realized what I had available to me until the last few years. I've been taking motorcycle rides in the summer into the park to go...
