Hi
Would you be able to get me a price on usps shipping to Perth Australia please
Thanks
Yes, swap out the biners for your own cord suspension system or just get a couple of whoopie slings, and your all set.
Yes they are.
Yes the tank was about 3/4 full, so plenty enough for the rest of this summer. Then as long as we get some rain it will top up again over winter.
I'm about 5'8" and sleep in it all the time when camping. Used it again last weekend and like it very much.
You can have it if you want, as I write this it is 106 F
Make sure you give me a shout when you get into WA.
I'll watch this thread for updates.
Also watch out for wombats on the roads at night, you don't want to hit one.
You mean like this one I saw a few weeks ago :)

Hi, I think they must just be dead, it has been very dry here for months.
Hi, that's the rain water tank, every shelter has one or two. The toilet is over to the left of that pic.
There are...
Hi All
A friend and I hiked out to one of the shelters along the Bibbulmun track last weekend. The temps were a little high at about 88 F so we needed plenty of water.
This section took us up and...
Pick me :)
Welcome Steve
This IS a good place to learn. Lot's of us here now from Aus, I'm in Perth.
You are so right there, I need two :)
Welcome
Take a good look around, lots to read and learn here :)
Here is a map showing reserves in WA, more details are here, Entry permits for access to Aboriginal Land
Although Lasseter Hyw looks ok, ...
HI
I have just had a look at your map. Are you REALLY sure you want to be riding from Alice Springs to Laverton??
You will be riding right through the guts of Aust which will be just about a...
It's a shame it's so far for me to come and join you.
So where are the photos? :)
I saw it last night in 3D and loved it. We took a bag of lollies, sweets. (candy might be close) and did not eat one I was enjoying the movie so much.
Yea and those clothes or lack of.
hi
How small? I may have something for you.
Nice report and great photos, thanks. I have a little stuffed guy I take hiking too. :)
What about making a sleeve to put your hydration bladder into. Slide the full bladder in the sleeve then place into your pack. Over here it would keep the water cooler for a longer time.
Yes, it is going to be 37 and 39 degrees over this weekend. a little hot :)
Hi
I'm from Perth so welcome. I believe there are some hangers from the East coast here.
cheers
A friend of mine here in Perth got spamed too.
He sent it on to me to look at.
cheers
Yes 48% is that right???
I wish I could find a book over here to show me how to really use this program.
Here is something I designed with it a while ago. It's part of a suspension system I was using....
Hi
Does that fit the three season yeti too?
Hi All
I just received an email from Golite about a new Golite discount coupon.
This may be of some use to someone I hope.
Hi
Mine are long too what I do is stand facing the tree with my back to where the hammock will be. then with a loop in each hand wrap around the tree and back to me so that the middle of the webbing...
That's a tough question. A lot comes down to personal taste and it's like asking which car is better :)
I have a Hennessy and like it a lot. I now use a Nano-7 hammock which is great but I have...
Are those pony wild? for real????
Go and wash your own mouth out with soap :)
Hey, nice blog site.
I thought with synthetics squishing did not matter.
What about a non self tensioning WS for the ridgeline on a tarp, you could put the adjustable end around the toggle of the suspension WS.
If the hammock has a 30 degree angle from the toggle and...
That's a good idea, I'm not sure how they work yet (still waiting :) ) but once the tension is on, can they easily be released?
Here is a photo of me in my hammock, I was just getting the hang correct but you can see how the yeti covers a fair bit. I use a pad I cut to fit my ULA Conduit pack as the pad to keep my feet warm....
cool, thanks
:jj:
Hi
I have ordered a set of slings and plan to feed the fixed end through my hammock channel. I need to know if the fixed end can come undone or is it some how fixed permanently?
Thanks
These guys are great to deal with. I have bought from them quite a few times now. The link will take you to their plastics section, they have D rings in various sizes.

Looks like the kids had a good time :)
Thanks everyone
It was a good night out in my hammock. I went to bed and all was good but during the wind really picked up and was blowing enough to make the trees sway. At this point I wished I had...
Looks good, I wonder if 1600# should be 1600 lb?
good stuff keep it up.
Cheers
I am about to order a set of slings and wanted to thread the fixed end through the channel on my hammock but I wonder if the amsteel is abrasive and will it wear through the channel on my Nano-7?...
Excellent photos again, I was meant to be going to Tassie this January but our plans were changed for us :(
Thanks for the report.
Hi All
I went out with my hiking mate Mark to hike the section of Bibbulmun track between Albany Hwy and White horse hills campsite.
We are now the official maintainers of this section of track...
Thanks
Good video explains that end well. But how does the tree end work?
I have not keep up with this method and I think I may be able to lighten my suspension a bit with it.
cheers
Take a look at my take on a suspension system for my Nano-7
