I wouldn't use the end caps to attach suspension. I had it snap on me after a few uses and down I went. It's cheap cast metal.

here is one of the I beams. They were built with some scraps my dad had laying around. So they aren't quite long enough or even but they work.
Solved the walking legs problem. My dad helped make me "I" beams for the bottom of the stand. Works perfectly now. I will try to post a pic later.
Thanks Hppyfngy! Going to give that a try. And the shoulder squeeze may have been due to the slipping of the hammock and me sliding toward the end and getting in more of a banana position than...
Also has anyone had trouble with the legs walking them selves back together? Had that happen once or twice.
