Welcome, from SE PA!
Nice! I'll have to hit the barrens at some point soon. I'm close enough.
Great bags. I have the Elite 4 and the Jungle Bag.
I have an unused rainfly from an Asym Zip. I don't have the cords for it, though.

No problem here. I'm a subscriber to your channel and check out your stuff when you post. I don't always have a lot of time to reply but don't let that discourage you. Keep on keepin on, I say.
Welcome from another SE Pennsylvanian!
Hello from another Pennsylvanian. Enjoy!
Welcome! Enjoy the view.
Welcome! Lots of good info and knowledgeable people here that will love to help.
Hello from Havertown, PA!
Nice! I really have to get myself down there next year.
Interesting. Looking forward to your review. I'd like to know what the stuff sack size and weight on this is.
Ugh, I did that once. I still cover my eyes when I pass it to sit down.
Nice! You'll both remember times like that. Good stuff.
Forgot to mention...
If you're in the area and want some good food try Alaska Pete's. We hit this place after the trip on the way home. I was pretty impressed.
Nice views, great pics!
No porcupines, just a bear, two bucks and what I'm pretty sure was a grouse I scared. I heard it take flight but didn't see it. The place was really quiet.
Started at the main trailhead on 402 and went west working the trail clockwise. Trail was dry except for some pooling in areas.
We didn't see anyone on the trail for 3 days except a grouse hunter...
Thanks all.
I agree.
It was nice, especially since it's not too far from us. Took about 2 hrs from Havertown. The trails do get pretty rocky and uneven. My calves got a workout.
Just got back from a 3day/2night trip on the Thunder Swamp Trail System in PA. This trip I tried out a couple new pieces of gear.
1. ULA Circuit pack - I took it on a 3 mile hike before but...
Nice looking set-up! Looks really comfortable and I like the colors.
It all looks great to me. Makes me sleepy just lookin at them. Have a good one and post a report and some pictures when you get back.
One day I just might give Peas a chance.
Not me yet, however, a little after lights out one night I heard a tear and a thud followed by my buddy saying "Uhhhh, that's not good." When I turned on my headlamp and pointed it in his direction...
Welcome from another Pennsylvanian!
I don't use stoves much anymore but I've been tempted to get the titanium vargo for some reason. I do carry Coghlan Fuel Tablets (like Esbit fuel) with me just in case. When I use them I usually...
That is awesome. Maybe the coolest tarp I've ever seen.
Sometimes I hang the tarp high and sometimes it's touching the ground like an a-frame tent depending on the wind/weather.
I've had my eye on that tarp Shug posted for a few days now. Very...
I PM'd ya.
Welcome! I am also in PA, use the HH Zip and Eno's, and just bought my first pair of whoopie slings to test out. At some point I would like to get out to the Allegheny National Forest area where you...
I don't remember where I first saw the hammock used for backpacking but I think it was in a blog/online journal. I bought my first hammock in 2007, the Hennessy Expedition Asym, and really liked how...
I didn't realize there were so many people here from PA. Welcome and cheers!
Wow, those lake shots are awesome! I'd love to see more of that area. Good stuff.
Nice, thanks for the link.

Greenlespaul, Smitty and Shug - Thanks!
Wow, small world, eh. We may know each other, know the same people or possibly even passed one another on the trail.

Thanks, I'm in Westgate Hills.

I hear that! When I bought my 9x9 camo a few years ago I didn't expect that it would last as long as it has for that price. A few burn holes near the edges and couple of sleet storms and it's still...
Pro Vagabond - Sounds good to me. Just subscribed to your youtube channel.
Knotty - I will check the schedule. A get together could be cool.
Mickey - Thanks.
Bigbamaguy - It does seem that...
Thanks for the welcome.
Young Hanger - Yeah, I found Shug's videos looking for hammock info on YouTube. Good stuff.
Dutch - Cheers, I'm in Delaware County

Hello all,
I've been reading the forums for a little while now and decided to post and introduce myself. I found my way to these forums after Shug mentioned it in one of his videos so I decided...
