me too... works like a champ. I also just cut it on the floor of my garage. I painted the floor with that 2 part epoxy (gray) and the knife doesn't leave any marks but melts through the ripstop...

There is. Get a piece of PVC pipe in the diameter you are trying to replicate then sew the sides together on one side. Then place the pvc pipe at the seam with the material around it then follow it...
