I would look in to climbing protection as a option as well it's a bit expensive but I know lots of people that only hang on it because they camp in climbing crags

And my first test with a tarp .... Just a cheap 6x8 and it worked well for sleeping one the ground but it doesn't cover the hammock so tarp shopping any recommendations ?
