I don't believe there is a 50% off coupon. Their regular price is 50% off "retail" and now 20% off of that.
The 90x156" are $16 with that discount.
Just my opinion, but I have made a bunch of these tablecloth hammocks and you don't need to double the channel.
It's already pre-hemmed. Just fold that over two inches or so and run three rows...
^^^
It's a difficult vague question but Brute is right. If this person, or persons, like and can get comfortable in a hammock, why not in a 10' hammock? Rule of thumb I try to use is person's...
I have one. It's heavy, about 4.8 oz/sy IIRC, vs 2.6 oz/sy for the crinkle taffeta.
It also has a much heavier weave and feel to it. Not bad, but not "silky" like ripstop.
Knotty made one...
I have a stack of tablecloths but no fuchsia, but as you and another forum member would have to pay shipping, seems to me it would be much more practical to just buy a fuchsia one for $13 and free...
Why? What'd she do? ;)
Good. Just keep poking at it. It'll get there. :thumbup1:
Sounds perfect. I can't imagine what the problem is unless your whipping is giving you such a center ridge that it kicks you out of whack.
Yes I'd say that's fuschia. :shades: Purty!
Yeah, what CamRuns said. 60 is plenty wide for most people given you haven't made it too short to get a diagonal lay. Most all DIY fabric is under 60" before hemming and is plenty wide.
How...
Pips I still don't know how you got anything through that tiny channel. A quick hem seemed easier than figuring that out to me...
And I also don't know where the dynaglide whoopies are.
I'm pretty sure they sent me a shipping notice but it's been several weeks since I did it. They're not the fastest shippers, probably took me 8-10 days to get mine.
Guess free shipping takes...
Just want to point out before everybody ends up with shiny crinkly hammocks, although this material is nice, I still don't find it as comfortable or as breathable as ripstop. And it's nearly twice...
That's what makes it awesome! :D
I think most that are going for the width are using 132" length, so sure. Cut 12" off twice! :shades:
Yes, it's pretty limey alright. And I think that pic pretty accurately shows the color.
Here's another natural light, (by a window) pic of it with my also "sage green" Kindle Fire cover.
...
Hate to tell ya but the Sage Green is much brighter than that... I still like the color though.
Here's me wallowing around in the 132x90. I was having a little trouble with the hangle... :)
...
Some have rated this fabric at 300lbs. That's probably conservative and I've heard several say they've upwards of 400 lbs in it with no problems.
ymmv
I kind of want one now! I'm not known to be subtle. :D
Hope you love it!
Have to keep clarifying this or we'll be sending people to the wrong site...
I do wonder if they've noticed an uptick in business. :)
I didn't notice what I would call "give" either. Certainly not as stretchy as a lot of the ripstop I've used.
DivaB, you ended up with a fanfold gather right? I'd think the channel end would...
I knew this was going to be, shall we say highly visible...
I think the aliens will see you and Brute first.
Not that there's anything wrong with that! :D
ENO's are thinner. This is about 2.6oz/sy. Seem to breathe a little less too.
Very comfortable though.
I've done a couple of these too and may order a bunch more for a class.
I'd recommend washing them. They soften up a little and who knows what is in the fabric from the mfg...
Overall...
