The APEX and the standard insulation are the same thickness....weight per ounce. 16oz for either grade. The APEX just preforms better regarding the warmth retention.
It's just so much more fitted than the other quilts that I can confidently rate to a lower temp....it can't be miss fitted to the hammock. :shades:
