WOW what a beautiful Snake
The ENO bug net works great
And comes with every thing needed to setup
You need a longer ridgeline but as for keep the bugs out no prob
After 3 + years in my ENO Hammock I'm still very happy with it
I don't see the need to reinvent the wheel so making a hammock or spending way to much
On a custom job isn't for me
I have never...
Welcome to the trees from Winnipeg
I'm a camper: I want to get where I'm going setup and relax
Welcome from Winnipeg
If you go to the ENO website you should be able to order it
I like earth tones but my tarp is dark blue
Till I buy a OD Green one at some point
I use and ccf pad and a pincho liner
Under me for cooler nights
I have the pro fly tarp by ENO and it works great
Twice this past summer I went out
And had wind and rain on both trips
And was nice and dry both weekends
Welcome to the forum lots of great advice
From awesome people
I use a sleeping bag as a TQ with a pad and poncho liner under me
And stayed nice an warm all night
Think I'll stick with my ENO bug net
I know it works great I just need one more
For my son's Hammock and his all set for next
Spring and summer camping
I took my poncho liner and ccf pad and light Sleeping bag as TQ
Down to 43°f and was warm all night
So I'm sure it's good down to the high 30's
But that depends on two things, are you a hot...
So far My son and I are the only hangers
Where we camp but a lot of other campers
Come by and check out our setups
Didn't seem to help this past September
When the night time temps hit the low to med 40's
Bug net or no bug net it was chilly at night
I did four days and nights in early September here in Canada
And the night time temps were in the low to med 40's
And I had a ccf pad a light sleeping bag
And a ranger blanket and was nice and...

Welcome from Winnipeg
I have only ever used a sleeping bag
But I haven't had any trouble with it
Seems to work fine for me
Welcome to HF from Winnipeg
Sounds great maybe next year
But I am going out for four days
Next week, only about an hour and from the
OT border here in good ole Manitoba
I use my E-Trex Legend for GeoCaching
It works great
Try and get some admins
And let's not change what don't need changing
IMHO any way
Welcome From Canada
With this two items all you would need to
Would be a set of ENO Atlas straps to hang your hammock
And (6) stakes to hold down your tarp
And if you intend to camp with this setup
You will need...
If you can you should DIY
And save your $
Sewing is not my thing so I wouldn't
Even Try, but that's just me
That is why I started cheap and Simple
An ENO setup I have my hammock tarp and bug net
Up in less the 5 minutes
Atlas straps and biners all the way
For ease and speed you can't beat it
Welcome from Canada
But from North Carolina originally
Welcome to the trees from the great white North Canada
I have found in sleeping in my ENO dbl nest
That if I sleep on the diagonal I get a nice flat lay
And is a lot more comfortable then if I sleep straight down the middle of the hammock
Yes I'm sure of that, but the truth is being stretched Way more that the slap straps
I'm with you on this one I've been seeing this same posts and
I also use the ENO Slap Straps even inte rain
And at almost 250 lbs I have never ended up on the ground
So it seems to me one or two...
Welcome from Canada
I love my ENO DBL nest
I have bumed shoulder and have no problem
Sleeping in it at all..
sleeping at an angle give a flatter lay
With no pressure on the shoulders
Welcome from Canada
For sure geocaching is great and with the iPhone app
It's even better lol
Seen them on a hammock in Cabelas
They seem pretty good and very light wight
Both may hammocks still have the older heavy carabiners
I used slap straps for the past few years
And not once did I ever find my self on the ground
From over stretching
I now use the atlas straps that don't stretch at all
And my son uses the slap...
In my bed wishing I was back in my hammock
I also use the ENO Slap Straps but can't say they
Have been a problem for me
I have also gotten the Atlas Straps by ENO
They do seem to have a lot less strech
Went out slept in in my Hammock...
Comfort of a good nights sleep
Swimming, fishing, cooking
Straight from my iPhone to here
At only 5'9" but 245
The ENO dbl nest works great
Nice trip great setup
The bugs can be pretty bad here in Winnipeg also
