I can't wait. My new sparrow should be completed this upcoming week. I hope everyone at DH has had a great Thanksgiving and I am like a kid before Christmas. Order 6162 will soon be mine. :)
I have a double layer Thunderbird and my new UGQ UQ works great with it.

Beautiful hammock. I cannot wait for my Sparrow to be done.
I have been looking at the New River UQs since my wife is allergic to down and will not even think about trying a down UQ. I was curious to see if anyone has used a New River with a Thunderbird...
I am sorry, but I am going to have to back out. I have to use that money to fix my truck now. Sorry for any trouble this may have caused you.
I will take the long under quilt, just PM me with your info.
Received my new Thunderbird Friday when I got home. I am happy about how the 1.6 HyperD feels. I can't wait til I can hang in it. I will be happy with the 72" width. My son is happy as well, since he...
Just got the email saying my new TB has been shipped. I can't wait for it to come in. Now I will be able to try it out at a scouting campout before I go to Fall Sprawl. Thanks Mama and Papa Smurf for...
I can imagine. I have a TB that is 63" and 11ft long. I can't wait.
I am glad to hear this. I just want to be able show my new wide TB at Fall Sprawl. My son will have to wait til then to get my old TB.
Looking at that cake gives me another reason to head up to Ohio. I am trying to get my wife to head up to Ohio to visit my brother and his family in Dayton this summer. That would make a side trip to...
I'll take the Mt Washington UQ. PM me your Paypal info.
What is the real differences between the Nighthawk and the Thunderbird. I mean beyond the obvious appearance differences. I have already ordered the Thunderbird (order 1969) and already own a...
I purchased my first "New" Thunderbird a couple of days ago. I have a Thunderbird that I bought from a fellow PSH member that was only used a few times. I have thoroughly enjoyed my current...
I will take it. Please PM me your information.
I am a "big guy" and I start hammock camping just over a year ago because of going camping with my son's scout troop. I am 5'7" and 350lbs, so I qualify to make sure that my products I use are FGA...
Yes, I will use the big blue tarp for the boat not the boy.
Thanks, I got two.
I have been very happy with my Thunderbird and I have retired my Kammok Roo to backup status for guest now. Looking forward to the 22nd to use it again and showoff to the scouts in the troop I help...
Payment sent.
I can understand about the 3 AM nature call and I know it will happen to me one of these days. I just hope it is not when I am with the Boy Scouts and it is day light. I would never hear the end of...
Spacelord, I hope you did not get hurt. I hang my tarp all of the time because of the little things that fall out of the tree.
I know of a truck that leave from Charleston that might have room for fishing gear Rev.
I for one believe in overkill, but hk2001 I do agree that a little more weight will not let me miss out on memories with my children.
Well stated Papa Smurf.
Yes overkill is good. That is why I drive a diesel truck to tow a bass boat. :)
I have looked at the turtle dog stands, but I am a heavy individual and I don't mind carrying more weight if it give me a better sense of security. I mainly car camp and I would hate to wakeup on the...
VictoriaGuy, you should really look at a few things before you start pointing fingers at the material, design, or workmanship unless you are a expert in such matters. I know I am not an expert, but...
I don't usually have to many dreams while sleeping in my hammock. I guess it is because I get such a good nights sleep. I do have dreams about sleeping in my hammock when I am sleeping in my bed.
I will take both of them. PM me with your paypal information.
I cannot speak for any other tarp other than the Kelty Noah. I have one that I use with my Thunderbird. I have enjoyed it and for $60 for the 12x12 I have not seen to many that beat it for the price....
Congratulations on your first hang. It is an addiction which I love.
I just love some of the ideas that Dutch comes up with.
Welcome to HF from Coastal SC. This is a great place for information and find hangs near you to meet new folks who love to hang in hammocks as well.
The fact that Papa Smurf could tell you when it was made is a statement to the customer service and TLC that goes into Dream Hammocks.
How heavy is this setup. I am thinking of doing a stand for times when our scout troop goes camping and I do not have any trees to hang my hammock.
That yellow Freebird is pretty and definitely stands out. That would be something like my son would like, but it will be hard to get him out of the hammock Junebug made. Who knows, maybe I will have...
I can hear my wife's comments now, if I were left alone for a week or more. I would have my hammock setup and the bed would be in the garage.
It is very nice to see kids enjoying hammocks and spending time on outings with their parents.
Our troop is planning a trip as a LNT project. I am going to have a hammock class for them to make sure they understand the different styles of hammocks and the different ways to hang them safely.
Papa Smurf and Mama Smurf to the rescue. :boggle:
Welcome to the addiction from the coast.
I personally like the looks and the idea of the vent on the overcover. I might even talk to Randy later to see if I could get my overcover on my Thunderbird modified to have a vent. I have not heard...
I hope that you are looking at attending the Fall Sprawl in September. It would be great to meet you.
Nicely said SwinginIt.
Edgeaddict, you don't need to apologize. The more you hang around the forums you will see alot and learn alot. Remember that the most important thing about any hammock is that you like it and use it....
The nice thing about Dream Hammocks is the quality of work and outstanding customer service. I have used a few different hammock and I have worked in the customer service industry. As we know...
