Yup stake pocket. It is on the inside. Works really well. My tarp stuff sack is the same. I hope he likes it. Gonna see him this weekend. I hope he brings some wasps and zing it to rig it up!

Just finished another ARGON Sil tarp for a friend (you know who you are). It's a 10' by 12' and 100% ARGON Sil. Even the tie outs are ARGON. The stuff sack is all ARGON and has a built in stake...
Hmmmm...I don't know, haven't seen that, but good idea. That would definitely put less stress on the fabric...
Can't really give you an exact amount of inches, but I'd say I move all my stakes back an inch or two in the morning. I made an ARGON sil tarp that's 12 1/2 by 10 feet, that's just a simple rectangle...
I might try that too. Good idea nuttysquirrel. I wonder if your feet would slide around in your boots though?
I think it looks like there is a slight difference because that fabric is down proof on one side since it was designed for making quilts.
Your tarp looks awesome MAD!
STRONG. I strung that thing really tight. It's double ripstop. I am quite certain that stuff can take a beating. I bounced around in the hammock made out of the non-sil treated Argon 90 some more and...
Haha, I've had it draped over something and it so long that some of it rolls onto the floor. I've stepped on a few layers piled up and almost taken a spill. So my tarp held up incredibly well. I...
Just playing with my tarp, getting ready for NEHHA!! And thought I would mention that I really appreciate how straight that stuff was cut. I didn't have to trim the edges at all, well to cut the...
Good. I didn't measure it before I started. I really don't think my seam was uneven. Thanks Dutch.
That thread is called "how to do easy flat felled seam?" started by johnscott.
Yeah I tried clips but that just wasn't doing it. You know it's funny, I had 6" of extra red on one side when I...
I used an 80/11. Other people can probably tell you more about needle size. I don't know if that's ideal. And I used gutter an thread. Here's a pic, there's no size on it.

Awe, is it supposed to rain? ;) It wasn't the precipitation that got me, but the fact that I picked a low spot by the creek where the humidity liked to hang out. I did fix the sleeping bag that I...
The Dinble Berry. No, The Dutch Dingle Berry. I think that's it. Chubby Sister hammock, inside the Dutch Dingle Berry, under the Chocolate Covered Cherry. It even rhymes.
And I'm sure there a...
Hmmmm I don't know.
Ehhhhh, should have, but no. I did even seam some squares of CS90 for reinforcement around the edge tie outs but it was becoming a pain so I didn't end up doing it. I didn't do...
Good. You just named my tarp. Now the matching quilt needs a name.
Hehehe you haven't looked at it close up!
Thanks, I can't believe I was able to get it done in a couple hours.
Blue and gold! Go Mountaineers!
It's done! Here are some pics.

Didn't see this until I set it up...could be a problem...

12' felled seam complete. It's not the prettiest in the world but it'll hold for sure.

Definitely not scary light, feels super strong. I mean, I did make a hammock out of this stuff (not the sil but the CS90). Actually, as soon as I get off HF I'm going to start the felled seam in the...
I got my ARGON sil! It's amazing! (Accidentally posted this on the camo thread first, sorry.)http://img.tapatalk.com/d/14/03/29/umagupe8.jpghttp://img.tapatalk.com/d/14/03/29/6ada4ybu.jpg
Now that I became a donating member it's even more confusing! Post a picture of it.
Yeahhhhh! My orders in! Now twiddling thumbs, waiting for the postman... Let's see who is the first to post a pic of a tarp made with the lightest sil to ever hit the market!
