I don't think it's close to the HH patent. I'm pretty sure the patent describes a "fixed" ridgeline...and this clearly isn't.

I like the idea...I don't think it'll work with Air Core, though. I couldn't even get my tarp to stay tight with a prussik on the Air Core. Might be worth using Spectra to make it worth, though.
