Thank you Phoenix!
I own a Warbonnet Blackbird & Ridgerunner and was hoping to avoid teeing up something new just to use the Cricket.

Has anyone tried the Cricket with a 10' hammock? The website suggests 11' or shorter but their user list only highlights 11 footers.
Glad you had a great time. I held my breath hoping you didn't get turned off by the paddling experience. As you mentioned its just another way of seeing nature and don't have to give up backpacking. ...
Shug....congrats, a very ambitious first canoe trip!
I'm a pack boat paddler and think you will enjoy the efficiency of a double paddle and a lighter craft. You still can use a single paddle with...
I didn't post a photo.
I had trouble installing these the first time on my new Warbonnet Ridgerunner. Rather than risk damaging a tarp, I was planning on replacing my original RR dog bones in order to use these bridge...
Bill, congrats on the new Ridgerunner. Have you decided on a tarp yet?
I recently purchased a RR but haven't bought a 13 footer yet. I was planning on getting a Minifly but they are still limited...
Very nice photo of the little fawn. Right, place, right time kind of moment!
Thank you for the offer but it's the single layer I'm interested in. I'll likely just purchase one new and decide which I prefer.
Thanks again.
Greetings,
Looking for a lightly used 1.1 Single Layer Warbonnet Blackbird. I have a lightly used Blackbird 1.7 SL if you're interested in a swap.
I also have an unused Dutch hammock that I...
Thanks, another enjoyable video.
I still enjoy winter camping but as I grow older, I limit myself to minimal distance from where I park. There are just as many trees, just as enjoyable and mostly...
Thanks, everyone....plenty of great options for me to decide!
Now all I need is for the snow to melt so it can look & feel like spring ;-)
Hi folks -
I'm looking for a hammock to take in a daypack, mostly to chill out with during the day but not something necessarily to spend the night in.
So I am looking for something very light...
Any photo's of the Day Hiker Hammock?
A star is born.
I always drop whatever I am doing to watch a new Shug video.
I love Early Winter in the woods except for maybe when it rains:-)
A useful tool in winter is an ice axe. A requirement in...
Nice video work, Crawfish.
Always fun watching video's of our Adirondacks. Were any of the leanto's occupied?
The weight of the Mini Pump is 2.3 oz.
You can find it here.

Good stuff, Shug.
I've found a quilt on the ground can hold its own with a sleeping bag until temps get below freezing.
Lofting is only part of it. Trapping your body heat inside a zipped...
Thanks everyone!
I appreciate all of your comments, suggestions and advice.
I just ordered Dutch's Netless Hammock in 1.1 Hexon with the Knotty mod.
Hi folks,
Looking for companies that use the stretch side, knotty mod on their hammocks. Just as happy to learn of any hammocks that allows you to sleep both right and left side.
Thanks!
I'll be using my Incubator 20/Blackbird combo for the first time this weekend.
Candle are fun, especially when you don't have a camp fire.
I usually have a long burning candle or two in my bag. I don't always bring my UCO lantern though. I place it on some foil and use my...
Good stuff, Carver. A shame about the idiotic bear feeder.
Another option is a large, clear trash bag from your local grocery store. You can usually find them in the trash or leaf bag aisle.
I like seeing my gear. You can move it around much easier than...
I posted some comments on your Youtube site. From a lifelong Adirondacker, that was one heck of a trip!
I agree with Yukon, can't say I have seen hammocks or tents for that matter at SPAC. You may want to call them just to be sure.
Idaho is beautiful. Nice video although for my taste, music choice doesn't compliment such a peaceful location.
I also have Dutch's continuous ridge line. It's nice being able to move the tarp over your hammock just by sliding it back and forth on the ridge line.
I like the music choice although I'd think about/reduce how many times you use it. Some placements were pretty timely & funny like after your Mountain House review.
A beautiful destination! Did everyone at the campsite get to see the moose?
I think CarolinaBackpacker will agree each of you contributed to saving his life.
An umbrella, camera, something to sit on.
I always take an umbrella. Comes in handy when mother nature calls during the night and it's raining.
I have 8' cord on all tie out points. Negliable weight difference, pretty much knot free.
I was one of two first moderators for Backpacker.net, one of the earliest lightweight backpacking sites and still around today. Back then I read Ray Jardines books on the subject and was hooked on...
