Hey Lazy River:
You can have your family at the hang!!!
Ill be at the hang. So if Yoda can make it, Yoda and I will pretend to be your family. You can treat us like your kids!!!
That means when I finish the hike sobo from 31 shelter to Ohiopyle, you'll have to join me

Nice pack weight .
Ill be at around 23 as usual with food and water for about 4 days.
But Ill just tie helium balloons to my pack to reduce weight.
I Will work on that ride from route 31 to route 56.
When its all said and done, ill probably end up at route 56 trail head around 930-10am on the 4th. look for the guy in the kilt !!!!
I will be able to hike Southbound with ya up to the route 31 crossing of the LHT. I have a family commitment, so that is where I will need to say farewell. I will have no need for a food drop.
I used mine last January at the New Jersey hang when it got to be 4 degrees above zero.
That is the only time I ever used it, as my underquilt has been enough at least down to 30 degrees F.
Any updates ?
As I am ready to reserve my nights if this is gonna happen.
Any updates for the fall hang yet?
I was waiting till July to register anyways as I believe they will only take reservations no more than 30 days in advance anyways. Am I correct?
I hike in hot weather all the time....
Thanks for all the input.
