Yeah ... thought about that ... but didn't want to risk them not having the size in Mil Brown ... so the 3 bucks wasn't so bad.

I have a great REI down jacket that I got on sale a couple years ago ... I went for the vest ... because really I was looking for that core insulation. Usually my arms getting cold is not an issue....

The one in Winston carries that line ... might have them.

That's really a shame ... but I've seen inconsistencies from store to store with other chains before.

Well ... just ordered my vest at the store in Greensboro and ... no shipping or handling fees ... and yeah it's going to my house. So ... don't know what to tell ya.

Little heads up ... if you are close to an Eddie Bauer store ... you can go in there and order it ... and you won't pay the stupid handling charge or shipping ... just the sale price and tax.
