OK-that is the piece of the puzzle I was missing. I was expecting the pad to go up under my head. I put the pad in the pocket, messed around with the bungie cord things and it looked like it was too...

Just got my deep jungle, with the radiant pad. What I can't figure out is what the two stretchy cords are for. I can't see any way to make them clip onto any thing. Any one figured this out?
