Good deal , just not looking like the best weather for a big turn out .
That would be in the north central area
I don’t really care if it rains either just as long as it is not supposed to be really windy . I’ll bring a good size tarp and some string to hang it with . Beam you and Eric better come .
I’m in , have to get out before baseball season starts up . Have extra hammocks if needed
Check out laurel snow , old abandoned mines , waterfalls, scenic views and beautiful streams .
Should be there Saturday morning
Sounds good to me , I like camping in the cold
I’d be interested in January or early February , no baseball .
Me and the other four will not make it.
Which way did you hike it ?
How about some baby back ribs and a banana split cake.
I think I will have two more with me also . One adult and one child so five total .
Me and the two boys should be there .
Going to try and make it myself . Formerly from the st.louis area now south of Nashville Tn . Never been to bell mountain , so unless road conditions don't allow I'm going to try and make it .
Me and my two boys will be there on Friday night . Will bring neo and fluffys favorite desert , banana split cake . I promise I won't eat it all on the way there .
Come on out , there is plenty of room for all .
Unfortunately I won't be there . Wife had surgery last Thursday and can do much for two weeks so I'm confined to doing marital duties . She just found out today there was no cancer so that's all that...
Beans , boomer gets all the rest .
Try to send it again , I think I clean my inbox out .
Definitely will . Whee is the camp office ?
Family sites on down the road from the group sites ?
If I don't have to work on Friday then I will be up there early but if I am working it will probably be 7:30 or so . I'll definitely let you know as soon as I can.
To me there is no other brand .
I will be there Friday afternoon , Not sure what time but it will be just me . How about some baked beans ?
I bet you just made Eric's day .
Hey , don't threaten me or I'll have to set something up down this way and hold you to it .
Good to hear you stayed warm . I've never heard of the fleece blanket trick but if it worked then that is all that mattered . Was you car camping or did you hike in and camp ? I'm taking my boys back...
I am hoping to make it , just can't commit until I find out when my boys baseball games start . I'm coaching with another guy this year so I have to pick my dates carefully .
Now it will be what happens in the woods goes straight to Facebook .
I would not be to concerned about the rain . If it does rain it should be very brief .
Check out the big south fork . Lots of loop trails , caves rock shelters an arches to see .
Neo , me and my two boys will be there Saturday afternoon .
My last weekend in Savannah . Going to linnville gorge this weekend for three days with some guys from the palmetto state hangers group . Great group of people out here . They have a Facebook page...
Yes they are the blue ridge brand , Time to learn how to sew .
They were online and I think about five or six colors to choose from .
I think so just a little longer . Great for us that are not vertically challenged .
Hey guys , seen 80 * 60 down throws at kohls for $20
If you have not left yet for burrells Ford we will probably be leaving here tomorrow at some point in anticipation of all the rain they are expecting . DON'T want anyone to come out and us not be...
Anyone going to make it next weekend?
I don't know anything about the area myself but I think maddog said its only about a 100 yards from the parking lot .
Some of us are going to raven cliff in north east ga next weekend if you would like to join us .
I'm sure I'll need a fix bye then . Only been to five hangs since October .
Can't wait !
Gunner you didn't take Sam with you , he would have had a ball with all those youngsters .
My pad is from rei and is rated to about 5 degrees . I use a outdoor vitals 15 degree sleeping bag for my topquilt . Use the pad in the ridge runner to help get a little flatter lay . It all goes...
Going to Huntington state park in South Carolina to hang with Facebook group from palmetto state hangers . Suppose to be about 27 or so Friday night and about 30 Saturday night . Have a 0 degree...
It's not been a total loss for hangs . I've managed to attend two events in North Carolina and plan on attending another the first weekend in December if we're not working seven days a week by then ....
Be home for it one way or another .
Now that's a good deal , and lots of us use them .
