You don't even need Prime to get that price. That's a good price!
I already have a couple of these. They are really great.

I use the small splicing needle Dutch offers. It works well. They seem to be out of stock on his site.
I think it's a discontinued item.

Pics? Pics?
I think the quality is in line with the cost.
LOL hmmmm... 108374
EXACTLY
All I see is that now an 11' hammock now costs more money. Perfectly acceptable considering Dutch does make a very affordable product. In the end though, an 11' hammock that used to cost $35 now...
+1 on that. The Firebox nano is really great.
in a word... yes
...and so it goes.... everybody has their own preference/opinions. Just have to try different stuff to find out what you like. I have been using PolyD hammocks but thinking my stretchier (and...
Subscribed! I'm definitely up for this when the weather is better.
Thanks Snowball. Those tips are very helpful.
I have an Edge. Mine didn't come with tie-outs (lines). It's not a big deal, but I thought I should point this out. Great tarp for sure!
On Amazon today it dropped from 299.99 to 206.99. If you're in the market for one of these seems to me that's a great deal.
Doing the same but with argon 67 outside and cs 3.6.
Great story.
Great word and well used!

Welcome! You will find tons of useful info on here.
Since most tarps at least have grommets on the corners this should get you by in good weather at least for shade. Glad I could help with my high school math. Now I know what to tell my daughter...
Actually I think an 8 x 10 tarp would give her a 12.8 foot ridgeline if she hung it diagonally. This would be more than enough for an 11 foot hammock. Please correct me if I'm wrong.
I will follow this. I am in the exact same position as you and I have a box that looks just like yours with the insulation popping out the top. Just waiting for the last bit of material from Dutch...
I second that opinion.
I love my Netty. It's an awesome hammock and very well made. If Hammeck doesn't deserve their own vendor page then noone does.
They still print magazines? On paper? Really!? Weird! What with just about every human on Earth having the equivalent of the Library of Congress in their shirt pocket for random access to any...
If I'm following correctly I believe daneaustin is talking about the CS.
Yeah, I remember that one. He calls it the "secondary suspension" or something to that effect.
Comes with continuous loops and ridgeline attached to said loops.
I am bummed. I just ordered some of this from RSBTR over the weekend and yours is significantly less expensive. Day late and a dollar short.
UPDATE: When I told Kyle about the price difference...
Just got mine... not bad! Too small for me but my gf loves it. Swapped out the loops with amsteel. It only weighs 4 or 5 oz more than my netty. Pretty good value for the money for sure.
First I got a sewing machine and started sewing stuff, now you guys have me wanting to run around the woods in a skirt. This forum is having a very weird effect on my life lol.
I wish he did sell tarps.
Double layer? Single layer? Suspension? Thanks.

Ditto. It shaves some weight and makes it easier to pack into the stuff sack. I did it to my ENO DN.
I am aware of the CF rain kilts. They do seem like a great idea and I was thinking about making one actually. I am referring to plaid man-skirts, however lol.
This is what I suspected. I...
10-4 on the SPAM singles. Love those things!

Love this post. You are a solid guy Dutch.
I saw some people mentioning wearing kilts for hiking in another thread. Since I didn't want to derail their thread I figured I'd start another...
Why do people wear kilts when hiking? I don't...
I was having the same problem. Wanted to buy just enough insulation for 1 quilt but ended up getting enough for 2. I figure I'll sell the second one to help cover half the cost of the first one. I...
If you must use an arrow shaft for a toggle, I would go with the aluminum option. The toggle only really has to resist being crushed from the webbing squeezing it. I don't think CF is as strong in...
It's really a shame people feel the need to paint all over everything like that :(
What he said.... thanks for handling that. I was just composing my reply when yours popped up. Great work.
I think the general consensus is use a straight stitch with good thread like Gutterman thread and a properly tensioned machine.
Nice video. Thank you.
Missed this last time. Glad I was able to pick one up for that price. Nice to have for the grandkids.
It depends how wide you are.
What size is it?
