I'll take it......the HG Incubator.
Are the quilts standard, wide, or short?
Which footbox on the burrow?
We just got back from the spring MAHHA hang. It was our first group hang. We had a lot of fun. It'd be great to get down to one of the hangs at Minister Creek. Unfortunately, we'll be in Glacier NP...
I drove from Erie. It was definitely worth the drive.
We had a great time hanging out and meeting everyone. Unfortunately, we had to leave a little sooner than expected. But, We are already...
I was trying to decide between 11 and 12 ft for my new HG cuben fiber tarp. But, as stated by someone on another thread......Lots of Superfly owners seem to be happy with their tarps that are 11 ft....
This will be my first group hang. My girlfriend will be attending with me. We are both looking forward to great weekend in the outdoors and meeting everyone.
Payment received.

This is the Osprey Atmos 65 AG in the Graphite Grey color. It actually looks like olive green to me. Either way, it's a great looking pack. It's the...
Thanks again everyone. I ended up ordering the Darien in a right lay and 1.6 HyperD. I almost went with the 1.2 Robic, just for the weight. But, I read a LOT of good things about the HyperD. Can't...
Thanks everyone. I have a better understanding now. I'm still tossing around which configuration I'd like best.
What is the purpose of the zipper hoods? Are they mainly for looks or is it help with...
Thank you. I saw that comparison chart. I was just curious as to whether anyone had hands on experience with both.
I can't seem to find a comparison between the Sparrow and Darien. I see the obvious differences being the better dual zipper and removable bugnet, zipper hoods and price, on the Sparrow. But, is...
Thanks Donna. I appreciate you getting back to me so soon.
Back to the drawing board for me.
Thanks for the info Shug. I've seen that video...and most of your others (big fan). That works great when I have the bugnet on, but not as well with the top cover. Of course, that could be due to...
Figured I'd ask here first............is it possible to have a WB XLC modified to have a zipper on each side, preferably meeting in the middle. I'm sure the shelf would be an issue. So, I don't know...
My GF has a WB Ridge Runner. The best thing about that hammock is the view!! If I could get as comfortable in that as I do my gathered ends, I'd buy one. It's a great hammock.
Thanks Dutch! That was very generous of you. Happy Holidays!!
Thanks for all of the input. I was just trying to come up with a solution, rather than selling my XLC and getting a new one. The main reason I’d want the vent/window would be to be able to see out....
I’m wondering if a vent/window could be sewn into a top cover that doesn’t have one. Anyone tried this?

Man, it's been great watching your progress over the last couple years....especially this year. It's really cool seeing someone do what some of us only dream of doing. I wish I had the business...
As far as the beetle buckles go, they were okay. The Appel for me was to be able hang side by side with my GF. However, she has a bridge hammock. So, that won’t work with my gathered end. I also felt...
Great videos Shug.....as always!!
Trailslug, that looks like a great project for my new sewing machine. Thanks for sharing.
alifeoutdoors, That's most likely the way I'm gonna go. It would also...
Like I said, some things just make me wonder. I like knowing how things work. I really didn't mean to seem like I was complaining. I remember a couple years ago, we got a little tour of the "old"...
Great advise! Thank you!
[QUOTE=curtiseddie;1841709]Thanks for all the replies.
I couldn't wait for my RSBR shippment to arrive so I've been searching the house for material. I found a tyvek envelope and made a little...
Sorry to keep piggybacking this post......but, lots of good info, so far.
One of the things I've been wanting to make most is a hammock stuff sack that has a zipper and can hang from my ridgeline...
That's a good point. I hadn't thought about going across the 2x3s......but the Dutch anchors are only 12".....so, they wouldn't work that way.
I got my XLC with cinch buckles. They worked well. Then I got a Dutchware Chameleon with beetle Buckles and dyneema/poly straps. I wasn't a fan of that set-up. But, I wanted to be able to store my...
That must be a union shop. Looks like something I'd do at work. Lol
I, honestly, hate to complain....and be THAT guy. But, it does make me wonder how things work, sometimes.
I had been waiting for the sale and watching relentlessly. I had sold my Chameleon and HG...
Thanks for all the input, guys. Like i said, I wasn't sure if the anchor, spreading the weight over 2-3 blocks, would make a difference. I knew the wood (which ends up being 2x3's laid flat) probably...
Great. Thanks again!!

Thanks for the info. It’s possible that they are 2x4 laid flat. I haven’t got the stud finder out to check. Are yours just into the wood or all the way through into the basement wall?

I just received my new Brother cs6000i, today. Amazon has it on sale this week. I've been wanting to get into making some of my own gear for a while. This seemed like a good beginner machine. And, it...

I was able to order my XLC(green)......with top cover(camo), UQ protector(brown), and 3 season wookie(brown), plus a door kit and couple biners....around 10pm EST.
I almost missed the bonus deal,...
Thanks for the heads up. I wonder if these prices start at midnight. I've been waiting over a week to order. I'm getting a new XLC w/top cover and a Wookie 4 season.....maybe a couple other things.
I'm on it!......ordering a new XLC w/top cover and Wookie 4 season!
Merry xmas to me!
Thanks for the info. That’s a great video. It doesn’t seem to be much, if any louder than the sil-poly. The weight of this CF tarps is crazy! I’m sure one will be in my pack next year.

Have you tried it in the rain? I'm wondering how the noise it compared to sil-nylon or sil-poly.
Good video. Very informative.
Whether they do or don't.....I'm ordering a couple things. It'd be nice to save a few bucks, though.
I got my girlfriend a RR last year. She loves it. My turn this year. Lol
Anyone remember what...
