Change your lay just to save $25?
The buckles behind the holes are going to chew the hole bigger over time. Lots of rubbing on the amsteel also.
bumps on the bum at night from underneath the hammock can be alarming.:scared:
1st weekend in May would work for me, and another hanger. I'll PM you. for more info.
Payment received, sold.

In a Darien there is no right or wrong way to lay. But if you're a left lay sleeper try it with your feet pointing toward the zipper side. There is less swiveling getting in and out.
I don't have a scale to weigh it but I watched ShortRound's review of a 1.6 11 ft Trail Lair with the wind shield and it came in at 30 oz. I took a pic of the 12 footer in its bishops bag next to a...
the limit before it tears or comfort zone?? Hex 70 2.2 tear limit is at least 400# I'm guessing without looking it up but I find its a comfortable hammock for me at 260#.

Excellent condition 2018 BMBH, black with 26" X 77" pad pouch (pad not included). Has a 112" amsteel ridgeline between the primary rings. Shock cord loops with toggles for net tie backs. (2) 10 ft....
Mine is 100% cotton. I’ve machine washed it 3 times and hung outside on sunny days. Each time it shrinks noticeably. It always stretches back to its original shape after a few nites of use. Avoid...
I'll take it.
I concur....just can't say enough. Here's mine in porch mode pitched low on the windward side and a set of Dutch tarp pole mods across the top. 178232
I've had that happen more than once. It's sort of like a "perfect storm" of conditions have to come together. Only in a hammock, never in a bed. For me it's (1) sleeping on my back only, (2)sliding...
Is the suspension on the prototype more like a traditional UQ or does it still hang like a TrailWinder?
As temps drop its important to have a good wind break for the dog. Windward side of the tarp down tight to the ground and doors closed and throw my jacket over her. I use the Pet Palace from Cave...
Not all, but many dogs like to sleep directly underneath the hammock. My dogs command the beds and furniture during the day but when nitey nite time comes and I unfurl the Brazilian they take their...
Hear, hear.
I cannot envision the UQP zipper having any pressure. It zips to the outside body of the hammock and hangs down loose under whatever UQ you were using. Any zipper pressure would be hammock to bug net...

HA HA best one yet!
IMO that's just the way Trail Lairs lay. If you go to the site and read the description on the Voyager, the triangle hoods help cut down on calf ridge. Trail Lairs have similar hood. When I lay...
Just received a new Trail Lair and I went with the permanent loops. I can notice the difference on the gathered ends that there is considerably less uneven bunching than with other hammocks I have. ...
can you tell us lay and length on the Trailwinder, thanks.
sending you a PM.
I have a HG burrow Premium 20 deg. 900 fill with 2 oz. overfill. Olive Green outer. Black inner. Snap & drawstring footbox. Reg. length. Nice loft and no defects. $180 shipped, Paypal OK.
Lay direction refers to feet not head.
I'd be more than happy to volunteer my services to come out and establish a hammock site or even several for you. My rates are reasonable.
My indoor sleep set up is the same as yours. I got the widest UQ commercially available, a Snugpak, 83 X 58. It fits the wider Brazilian hammocks very well. Virtually impossible for it to slip off...
Yer preachin' to the choir my friend. When it comes to our cottage vendor$ or Amazon, buy once cry once.
I'll take the final 2 sets.
I have a Freebird to sell, it's a double layer 1.9oz in Multicam that has been heatcut and sewn all the way around (no place to put a camping pad). It comes with whoopie sling suspension, a fixed...
I have found that the wooki never slips out of place when I move from a back position to a side sleeping position and vice versa. My Incubator fares a little worse.
Thats an odd threat because our cold & wet spring has really diminished YJ's activity so far. At least in WI. I've seen only a few buzzing about. Avoid hanging your hammock around rotted stumps and...
