I have a warm top quilt for sale here: https://www.hammockforums.net/forum/showthread.php/103553-Jacks-R-Better-Old-Rag-Mountain-top-under-quilt
Might be overkill for NC, but you'd always be warm!
August 2011, standard 800 fill.
Rated at 5-10 deg, but like all JRB gear, I would bet this is conservative.
For sale is a very lightly used quilt. I am the original owner, and this quilt is in pristine condition. Very warm and poofy. You can use this as a top or underquilt. Regular size. $230 shipped conus.
Payment received, can close the thread.
Just cleared the inbox - the bling is yours! I'll PM payment info.
This is a complete Dutchware whoopie hook hammock suspension. Comes with two 5' tree huggers with Dutch clips, two whoopie slings with Dutch hooks, and two continuous loops. Dutch's website says this...
I'll take the 2nd set. PM sent.
Thanks Slowanderer, too bad we all weren't able to get together more often! Take care in CO, I'm sure I'll make my way back someday.
Thanks for the welcome y'all! We're really excited for this new adventure.
Items withdrawn - will use the combo over the winter. Mods, you can close the thread.
Got my orders to Whiteman AFB and will be moving next month. Looks like there's a pretty active MO HF contingent, can't wait to meet you all! How about some nearby trip recommendations? I'll probably...
Hi BillyBob - I use a RR and the full-length Lynx underquilt. The uq provides coverage to the edges. I also prefer to scoot to the side a little and lean up on the sides. The RR + Lynx combo is...
I sold it quite a while ago, so it's not available. However, don't be afraid to try to make one yourself! I didn't have very good sewing skills when I made the cover, but it turned out ok.
I made a combo underquilt/top cover for my BMBH a few years ago, might interest you. Not familiar with any commercial options.
Bump - still looking!
It's the standard model RR - fits a user up to 6' 6". Don't know the actual length.
I actually emailed 2QZQ a while ago with a RR mod question and they told me they don't do custom work on Warbonnet hammocks...
I was hoping to trade them straight across so I could have the new hammock in time for a trip I have planned in a few weeks. But, I'd be open to selling them independently. I would want $100 each so...
Hi - looking to trade my SL RR no-net with Spindrift for a SL or DL RR with net. Gear is in great condition - looking for the same. Let me know if you wanna make a trade!
Buffalo Creek, first weekend of October gets my vote.
My Greylock 3 actually weighs 16.1 oz (2.1 more than it's supposed to be, just like y'all's measurements). I wonder if JRB posts the weight of the quilt without the shock cord? The shock cord/biners...
I might be able to make those dates.
I'm in. Thanks!
2.8 oz total (all 6 poles)
Just weighed my NX-250 poles - 2.8 oz
I think you might be able to push that combo to 10. I used the full-length 20* Lynx as my sole under-insulation with a JRB Hudson River on top to 19* and was still warm. I was using the WB Spindrift...

I'll talk to the wife, but I think she'll want me to go to church with her on Sunday... but I'll let ya know!
HammockForums be the only place for Steeeve...
*Claim withdrawn; Swampfox can have it*
Great report! Hope I can make the next one.
I've found that the foot doesn't work well, but some people have been able to work with them. I find marking the fabric with a barely visible mark or something that can be removed is much easier and...
I use a GG 1/8" thinlight pad, works great. Wide, layers can be doubled/tripled if you don't cut it, potential go-to-ground option, etc. Also have a Lawson 1/8" pad which is a little wider/longer,...
I was going to suggest this too. Put the pad in your quilt's footbox, and it will move with you.

Yeah it seems weird that a material designed for sailboats would have issues in sun & heat...
I would look into the undercover or undercover/poncho. It works GREAT to stop cold wind from stealing your heat. I used it a few months ago during a windy snowstorm and never felt the wind taking my...
Payment for Dutch Buckles sent
I'll take the dutch buckles - sending PM
Yeah I was thinking about using the 2.5 oz Climashield panels for summer use, maybe a JRB Greylock for shoulder seasons (I had one a year ago and sold it...DANG!), and maybe both would be enough for...
