The one I had at hang was a 90x156, but I also use the 60x126 as a good size for a hammock I may use for camping or something like that. Hope that helps.

If you didn't have the pipe then you would pull the tripods in and they'd collapse. Hanging on the pipe pulls the force down instead of inward

It's the chain link fence pole. After some tinkering it appears I was hanging at too tight of an angle. I let the hammock closer to the ground and the bend went away. I just need to get my Ridge pole...

I used a 3 piece top rail today and I'm guessing it shouldn't bend this bad? Any thoughts?

I have to ask if one could just put a tarp over the top rail and stake it down without having to stake down the sides that would normally be around trees?

It's been a good journey. As I type this, I have a mini-TD stand set up beside my office desk. It truly has been a wonderful invention. Glad to be a part of it.
