That's really encouraging, as I have a MacCat Deluxe with 2QZQ doors as well. Haven't used it in the rain yet. Lake George is a great area, was over there last year for the Americade motorcycle rally.
chorpie, the bungees seemed to work all right, not sure if I will use those on the AT or try out some single shock cord pieces.

Thanks for your suggestions, everyone! I really appreciate it. I am going to try making my own continual ridge line like on whoopieslings.com, with the figure-9 on one end, knot bone on the other,...

My HG Winter Burrow & Incubator arrived today, so I thought I'd take a few photos in case anyone was curious as to what they look like. Mine are stealth black (green interior). Thanks, Stormcrow &...
I plan to start in GA early March 2012, using a hammock for shelter.
Excellent! I'll be watching!
Great idea, Bombadil, thanks! If I start in Feb. I will most likely need a full UQ I think...especially considering the temps everywhere right now!
Will have to do some research on that,...
Yes, I'm female. Actually, there are folks on White Blaze who've already started "Class of 2012" threads. I did ask around there but figured I would here as well. If someone is interested, I'm more...
Thanks, Syb, for the welcome & feedback!
Thanks, Shug. I've checked out some of your YouTube videos, and really enjoy them.
I guess I just figured the KAQs were down since they don't...
Hi all, I'm brand new to Hammock Forums. I intend to become a hanger. I don't have a hammock as of yet, but am leaning toward a Warbonnet Blackbird double layer 1.7 since it seems to have such rave...
