Thought i would see if there is any interest in a Anchorage area hang. I was thinking either Crows or Resurrection pass but this can be determined by the groups skill level and amount of time we have.

First trip of the year!! Went out to Eklutna Lake just north of Anchorage. Had some wonderful weather this weekend 46 daytime and high teens at night. Stayed fairly warm thanks to the 3-season yeti,...
I use my pack cover and have a piece of 3 mil plastic that gets tucked in to cover the backside. This has worked really well even in down pours.
I had know idea about the stretch, very good to know. I use it all the time on alot of gear so it seemed like the obvious choice for guyline....looks like a trip to the store for some cordage that...
Thanks for all the input!! I think I will give them a try on the tarp and just use desender rings for the hammock till I get some whoopie slings.

Was wondering how many of you guys and gals use figure 9's for your tarp and hammock tensioning needs. Do they loosen up over extended use? Has anyone had one break while connected to a hammock? And...
