Welcome from 'The Ham'.
Welcome to the Hammockforums.
That video makes me want to get up that way. Love your video, I'm taking my son twice this summer to the Smokies. Can't wait.
Nice report Jim, looking forward to the next one.
Welcome, from Birmingham al.
No problem, We enjoy making the videos.
Excited to see everyone at the Hang, Drive carefully!
Never heard of this place, I must give it a shot. Best map? recomendations for a 3 day, 20 mi? Thanks,Kirk
I'm in B'ham too, actually Homewood. How about you?
I noticed, I hope it changes.
I do the same with my standard. I like one sleeve, easier and faster. Tried mine for the first time this past weekend. I'm thinking about getting one for my hammock too.
Great! Yes, he is.
As of yesterday, we have decided for half a hang, (fri-sat). Austin(14), is wondering, how many his age will attend? Dale and or Jim, any ideas on day hikes Saturday?
Austin and I are going to try to make it. I may have to work.
Howdy, from Birmingham.
Welcome, from B'ham.
Man, nice setup. Now get out there and hit the woods!
I don't like the rules myself, but probably best to heed this advice.
We've been wanting to try the 'walls'. Nice video, thanks for sharing.
I love my doors.
For me, it depends on what I'm leaving behind. If it's my set up 10 person family tent at a campsite or smaller hammock stuff that is easier to take. It depends how many others are in the area. If...
The old ones seem fine. But I'll get the 2.0 to be on the safe side.
Nice video, I've been wanting to hike that area.
Yes, I thought that was really cool.
Nice report on our adventure. It was a blast!
Started at East Fork, Shining Creek Trl, Art Leob, Greasy Cove, Graveyard, Mountain to Sea, Bridges camp gap, Big East Fork.
I'm checking out Shinning Rock Wilderness for the first time in a few day for a 4 day backpack. I'm really looking forward to it.
My cuben lets just enough light in for me, and I can see through it fine.
Really nice video, like the way you designed your cuben tarp and pack.
Thanks. Yes, the burger wrap by packit is now one of my favorites for the woods. Problem is, when I find a favorite, I tend to overdo it and get sick of it.
I did a test last week and passed, I stacked the HG 20* and 40* in 5* and it was nice. One day i'll pull the trigger too.
My son and I use the HG, and we really like. We have 2 sets of 20* and a 40* set 3/4
Welcome, from Birmingham.
Grapenut, very nice video, looks like y'all had a great time. I really enjoyed my trip last week, checking out all the frozen beauty.
HG is awesome.
No problem Dale. I wasn't really thinking, I was just happy to be out in the woods.
Have fun, my son and I love the Smokies.
Nice! Just broke my record from 17* to 5* last week. I needed to test my stuff for a trip I'm planning to NC in a few weeks.
Cant see your attachments.
Hopefully the audio is better now.
