Me too, the stock ridgeline that comes with the guardian is kinda cheesy...I made a spectra ridgeline for my ENO, just slip the bug net over the hammock as you are setting it up, pull the drawstrings...
Thanks for the explanation, that's why I leave the sewing to my drapery shop, I only sew skin in surgery.
It's a type of sewing machine that zig-zags across a seam. Some of the nicer machines can do it. (I think I explained that correctly) I have a drapery shop do my sewing.
Yes I'm a fire dept paramedic-lieutenant.
When I make my wetsuit repairs I butt up the edges after I apply a coat of Aquaseal adhesive, then sewn with a surger, not a regular thread injector.
I tried using mason line too, and because it is a single twist braid, it does tangle too much. It is small & strong though
I'm one of the ones Titanium is talking about... I keep my hex fly in mesh skins so it will dry while hanging on the outside of my pack. I use the HH skins on the hammock so I can quickly slide the...
+2, I have a KAQ Jarbridge (still 100$) and I use it on all 4 of my hammocks, including both of my ENOs
I also have both a HH & a WBBB 1.7 DL I think the Blackbird is more comfortable & roomy (for me) I'm 5'11" 225#, so I push the limit on a SL when my 30# dog sleeps with me. If you go with a SL in...
