I have the radiant double bubble pad as well as the SS. I'm going to do some experiments with different setups.
I'm interested, but can't commit right now.
They can also be used as a fire starter.
I've had both, I prefer the zip. No real reason, I just like it better.
I have a cub that I would be willing to sell.
For that price it better come with a boat.
Upper Elk, Tim's Ford Lake.
I don't consider this as a safety issue, just wondering if it might add a little more protection. I'm always carrying more than I think I'll need just in case.

Is there a list of these vendors and what they offer here?
Sorry, I know this might be a stupid question, but I can't find the answer anywhere.
What is the definition of a Cottage Vendor?
I have a Hennessy with the Super Shelter. I am planning a overnight kayaking trip soon. Because the water will be cold (and the air also), I will be wearing a dry suit while on the water. I was...
I've learned that you have to roll the hammock/fly up pretty tight to get them in. I now use separate skins for my hammock and fly.
Greetings from N. Alabama.
Welcome. I'm in Harvest!
I read on here about people using a sleeping bag, but removing the zipper pull. What is the reason for doing that? Is it that it gets in the way or could tear through the hammock?
I've done that section before. Very nice. Although when I did it is was very wet. Rained 4 days straight.:(
The HH Hex tarp only has lines extending from the ends. I was looking to add a ridge line between the hanging loops.
I just got my HH and got the Hex tarp. I plan to keep my tarp separate. I got two set of skins (free) with my order, so it works out OK.
I got my SS today. I hung my hammock in the back yard and set it up. It is very easy to set up. I can't wait to try it out overnight. I wanted to tonight, but the weather is pretty bad (as it has...
I have the HH Hex tarp and I think I need to add a ridge line. I have some very thin bungee/shock cord. Would this be OK to use, or should I just use some thin para-cord?
People are getting offended by people killing fire ants, so I'm sure there will be lots of folks upset about down use!
My Walmart has a pretty good selection.
I've been looking for a "nice night" to test my gear for a while now!
Is it better to put the extra items (Jackets, pants...) under the SS pad or on top? Or does it matter?
No plans to hurry on things. Just like to know things that I feel I might need later. I went ahead and got the SS so that I could test my cold weather limits with it. For now, I have no idea what...
Just purchased a Hennessy Expedition Asym Zip with the Hex fly. I also went ahead and order (but haven't received yet) the Super Shelter.
I have slept one night in a hammock in the past and...
