i would go to a national hang, travel is good for me. always up for new territory. mahha unfortunately is coastal. so not really in the middle of the half of the country that is east of mississippi....

Seems like even draped over the sides would retain a heat canopy that would have to travel back down to escape. Actually tho, with regards to the fabric version i am thinking of a fly for the bug net...

skeeter beeter.... not quite that easy with integrated bugnet. forcing the paracord thru the end seems a bit daunting.. very tight and full perimeter sewed.. maybey a special pull type needle?

24 ounces doesnt bother me if its a large winter capable tarp. as shown in those previous pics. it also compresses way beyond its stuff sack size. more than 60% so im pretty happy with the packked...
