Yeah that would be a good plan. I'm not looking at very cold temps this weekend (low 55*) and I sleep warm anyway. I'll probably just take the ccf and use the liner and poncho liner as my other...
That's a great idea, I'll have to give that a try. I may just keep the cheaper one and just supplement it. I have a fleece bag liner and a woobie poncho liner, so I'm sure I can come up with some...
I'm wondering this same thing. I just bought the stiffer $7 one, but I'm debating on returning it for the egg crate one. I'm worried my width (6'2" broad shoulders) will cause issues.
I agree on the whole pouch thing. It may be all psychological, but it feels weird if I lay in one with the pouch hanging wrong :D
Haven't gotten to take them on an overnight, but I've spent several hours studying between trees with them and loved it. Very large improvement from the original SlapStraps IMO.
