I was so upset that I couldn't make it...still bummed about it. Looks like it was a great hang. Kudos Bigfoot for putting it together!

I knew I shouldn't have answered my phone without looking at who was calling! Doesn't look like I will be able to make it. Work needs me to come in since our weekend guy called in "sick". Have fun...

Have not received the payment request for the t-shirts yet...has that been sent out and I missed it?
Awesome news on UK Hammocks...sounds incredible.
Good thing I went back to read some pages that I missed or I would have never seen the t-shirt document. Just entered my 1-XL. We are getting close!
Hope you make it dedominick...been awhile. This is shaping up to be quite the Hang. Hope enough people sign up
You won't be disappointed
Mine are still holding up strong!
I'm in. PayPal $ should be floating over our heads, WillyWonka style , to you as we speak. Awesome job in setting this up...impressive line up of events and sponsors. Kudos to youdos (sorry...too...
You can also tell by "delivery from Hong Kong" and "Item location:
Hong Kong, Hong Kong" ;)
mugs...need to make your video public or unlisted instead of private. We can't view it.
Thanks K. Yeah my daughter was going to surprise me with a visit, I don't get to see her much these days, but when she learned I was planning on attending the hang she had to ruin the surprise. She...
Fantastic photos! Looks like it was a great hang
I just got confirmation that I can have that Friday off. Rip, who is coming with me, is waiting to see if he can take the entire day off I believe. If that happens then we MIGHT start heading that...
During the Winter Hang here in Oregon I used some of this during the 2nd night. I had no UQ and my bottom insulation was an Exped Synmat 9. The 1st night my backside got a bit cold. So the 2nd night...
Great pics. I was born and raised not too far from there in Santa Cruz. Live in Oregon now but I still get back every 2 or 3 years at least.
Nice...thanks!
Ah come on Gary...I only kid the one's I like. Didn't mean to hurt your feelings. ;)
I think I'll be taking Friday off so that I don't arrive so late. Rip you're welcomed to ride with me if you wish. I can get you from Portland, Salem or wherever. I don't talk as much as Gary so...
I'll be there. I work Friday (Woodburn, OR = 203 miles) so I'll be arriving a bit late that night but will be there
I'll be there! Joining me will be the famous Sky The Dog and possibly the not so famous wife.
If my wife told me that, I would be checking to see if she recently purchased a new, high value life insurance policy on me
So many XLC choices...wife says I need to sell my 1 weekend used 1.7 DL first. (in a jar on the shelf)
I hear that the best way to get rid of the flu is to send an XLC (for field testing) to the first person who offers you advice on how to get rid of the flu
Pretty easy to take good looking photos when you live here in the Pacific Northwest....just point your camera in any direction and press the button. Mother Nature does the rest :D
I am most definitely in! Thank you!
Saweet! Thank you Kayt!
WTB: Exped DreamWalker 650 Sleeping Bag (Large). Thanks for looking.
Great job! I've been waiting for someone to post a pic of a finished one. How's the quality?
The MultiMat is not like their line of air sleeping pads. I have their SynMat 9 for that purpose. The MultiMat is more like a ground cloth...a mat
I lay out my Exped MultiMat under the hammock and put my pack on that. EVA foam on one side and ripstop nylon on the other. Waterproof so it even worked great in the snow last weekend at the Oregon...
After meeting Gary, that statement doesn't surprise me one bit. He's on a whole different level.
Yeah but it's Texas :scared:
I kid :D
Tonight on the NBC National News they did a story about how bad the pollution was in SLC. Looked pretty nasty. Hope it clears soon
Needed some mesh sleeves for my Superfly tarp and someone suggested contacting a forum member by the name of MoutainGoat. I did and I received the product the other day. Fantastic workmanship, or in...
I cheated. I dipped a piece of bread in it. No brain chunks for me...just brain juice. It was fine.
At the 2nd Annual Oregon Winter Hang last week someone asked me my forum name. When I told him the reply I got was, "Oh you're the arrogant bast*** who took the whole fricken state as your...

Thank you Coil although I wish I had just a thimble full of jackleberry's talent. I took about 150 photos and I was semi-happy with maybe 12. :cursing:
I didn't bring my DSLR and just had my old...
silentorpheus - Thank you for posting this. I slept overnight in my new hammock for the very first time just this past Friday at the 2nd Annual Oregon Winter Hang. A few days prior I had hung it in...

If so what is the weight? Thahks
A more accurate statement would read more like, "This WILL get addictive".
<---- jealous.
Have fun with all that
The hilarious white elephant gift exchange is right up there
Here are all the photos I took including out of focus and fugly shots (which most of them are...I'm NOT a photographer by any means)
