We had a great time. The Thursday night late arrival was no problem thanks to Tim covering the check-in and picking a site that worked great for us and the cool temp made for great sleeping weather....
Leaving in 8.
Hours that is.
ETA 9:30-10:00pm
So, in a weak moment late last November I said "Yes" to Gringo's request to fix a group breakfast for Saturday morning so now I'm thinking more about it.
If my math is right, it looks like 24...
I think I saw Easttex post that he was going on the Lost Maples hang that weekend.
The three of us would love to give paddling a try if there are some loaners available with coaching.
Don't forget your pup proof gaiters Alan.

Fort Parker has about half a dozen primitive sites that would be great for about a dozen hammocks. The RV sites compare to a KOA.
My story as well. :shades:
I do not have a site reserved yet. :(
FWIW, Here is a collection of names based on this thread that have either indicated an interest or are planning to go:
Oldgringo
JRS
Jazilla
East Texas...
Same story here. I've been a "may be"
and Cindy just put in for a sub so we're clear to come but if there's no room at the inn we may need to step back and take another look at it.
Waving...
I love swamps and people who hang in them. Mark us down as a definite "maybe" x 3.
