I was thinking of using rolls of plastic and fuse seams and straps instead of tape or sewing. And possibly fusing a space blanket on the interior for warmth.

I guess that would depend on the material used for the tarp. Mine will be a lot lighter and stronger than any "Blue Tarp" out there. I think I will attempt to fuse a space blanket on the interior...
