Where do double bottom hammocks come from? This sounds like something that might be easy to make. Perhaps I could slip polyfill between the layers, or what are the things you might slip in there?

I guess that's something I'd buy, not something I can easily make myself if I have limited experience and time?

Only on the bottom. I'm not convinced I was always on the therm-a-rest, or always sure where it was. In a mummy bag, shifting the layers around and trying different angles, this was an issue for me...
